So I'm looking around YT on something I've been into lately; 8-bit, 16-bit and Arcade music. Then I find this:

I'm astounded at how random, funny and precise everything is. But what do you think? Is it good, bad, mediocre, or just funny?

Also on a sidenote, if anyone can point out the music that'd be swell.

Damnit. Now I want to pull my C64 out of the closet and make some tunes on it too! If I only knew how. Still love the sound of those machines.

Yeah, I know, mate. Thanks for the info though. The problem is more the long list of syntaxes needed to get one bloody *bleep* out of that thing, as far as I know. So it's more of a scripting and how to problem than anything else.

Well, I'm 99% sure it's a chiptune, not actual game music. Never heard the tune before, but it's pretty cool.
You can learn about chiptunes here, for those who've never heard of 'em. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiptune]
I really love 8-bit music. Got a lot of Mega Man 3 tunes on my ipod, and a fair collection of chiptunes from sites like 8bitpeoples [http://www.8bitpeoples.com/] and 8bitcollective [http://8bc.org/].
There's a lot out there, so it can take some time to find stuff you like, but it's worth it.
