If you pick Halo, atleast pick Halo 2.

That one had GFWL, and was locked into only beign able to run in Vista due to some arbitrary code.

Also, i'm curious. What happend with Rage after the last couple of patches, reading the article makes it sound like some gamebreaking bugs or left in?

Eight games that make you shutter when you hear the term - "PC Port".
Halo: Combat Evolved.
Really?
REALLY?

Halo PC was an excellent port, the free Halo Custom Edition download was even better. That game ran on a toaster and I still use it for testing new systems if they're having problems with more recent games. If it can run one end of Pillar of Autumn to the other it's a driver not a hardware issue. It's handy since the installer is super efficient and takes all of two minutes on a modern PC.

Except for a few new maps (infinity was great) it was basically Halo Xbox with higher native resolution and uncapped frame rate, but that's all it needed to be.

Now Halo 2 PC, there was a turd. GFWL, Vista OS checks, buggy textures.

How about Prototype 2? I picked it up during a recent Steam sale, and the game chugged and stuttered. By the time I got past the opening, it was completely stuck, and I had to Ctrl+Alt+Del in order to close it.

Skyrim's port was perfectly fine, what are you talking about? I mean it had a few glitches, but none were game breaking as far as I know.
