Because rape is considered a little bit of a no-no in contemporary society, so people jump the gun a bit when it's in such a shocking manner.

Neither dead or pregnant. As far as I know, it's never been deemed medically possible for a six year old girl to get pregnant. Some six year olds can actually start puberty at that age (such mostly recognized later on as the often very tall (compared to classmates), extremely developed twelve-year-olds found dotting the crowd in any middle school), but even then it does not mean they are yet able to get pregnant. They still wouldn't start ovulating for at least another year or two depending on rate of development.

As far as the article is concerned, she's merely hospitalized with severe wounds.

Greetings fellow escapists. Today I was visiting Sankaku complex, my stop for all the crazy news for the day, when I came across a disturbing story. A 9 year old boy had raped a 6 year old girl in India. the make matters even worse, the police could just lock him up for a day and then just gave him back to his parents.

So, my question to you is, what would you give as punishment to this boy? Locking him in jail at a young age wouldn't help at all, but to just let him go seems retarded. Why was he even interested in sex at such a young age?

Sex offenders cannot be changed or rehabilitated, so normally I say we just kill them.

But a nine year old? wow....

ive never been one of those people that think people who kill or rape need rehabilitation instead i feel that they should be removed from society permanently preferably killed cheaply after their guilt has been proven without even a shadow of a shadow of doubt. This kid though because he is 9 and has done such a horrible thing makes me want to have him suffer first, I know its not christian of me to say such a thing but morals shouldnt get in the way of punishing brutal crimes and protecting victims and potential victims.

How are morals getting in the way? Maybe my morals are overly complex but to me, after someone does something like that, killing them isn't immoral.

different people, different morals, for me killing those that commit murder or rape isnt immoral but then again i was saying that morals shouldnt get in the way of punishment and some people think that killing even killing as a form of punishment is immoral these people are also one of the reasons the US criminal justice system is so messed up.

We don't castrate fully grown rapists or pedophiles. How do you justify castrating a child? The only solution I see is to imprison him either for life or until he goes impotent. This puts sex crime in a new perspective for me.
