I stopped at what I presume is the last level of Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Advance Wars is one of the few games that can actually intimidate me into stopping. I should probably give it a shot again.

I think I was this close to finishing that extra stuff after the boss in Dragon Quest VIII.

And I'm someone else who's never finished a Pokedex. I like collecting rare pokemon, kinda, but getting every last one for the sake of completionism just doesn't interest me.

Maybe I shouldn't tell you this, but I've never even come close to halfway finishing the pokedex. I just pick out 6 pokemon to train and then kick the elite four's ass.

I haven't completed Arkham Asylum. There's just one thing I can't find. In Shadow Complex I have the same problem.

I don't know if I even get that far. I normally just take my starting pokemon and level him so high I can beat the Elite Four with only him. I've also never beat Oblivion...all those defenseless people looks so fun to kill.

I really want to play God of War 1, but my copy is scratched, so around the desert level when I finally win and exit, the game freezes up behind a loading screen. I'll have to borrow a friends copy.

I still have half a ton of PS1 games from years ago that i have still never completed due to difficulty. I'm not the best of gamers but i swear that games such as Lego Racers and Croc were built top be unbeatable...

I managed to beat Croc when I was just a wee lad XD.

Ummmmm....Farcry 2, Arkham Asylum, and Condemned 2. I made it to the end on Condemned 2 but my game glitched and I just couldn't bring myself to do the whole level over again....

Ocarina of Time.

I was scared out of my ass to fight Ganon, so I never did fight him, and started a new save file. Then Majora's Mask came out and it occupied my time more. After a while I forgot about Ocarina of Time as I lost my Nintendo 64.

So I rebought it via Wii Shop and replayed the game, getting nearly all the heart pieces, magic spells, ammo upgrading item. Then after beating the Spirit Temple there was a power outage and wiped the Wii of any memory that was stored in any Wii Shop game. Ocarina of Time included.

I raged and haven't touched it yet.

Assassin's Creed II. The ending completely put me off Assassin's Creed mostly, which is a shame. Plus I'm having too much fun with Crackdown, which I also doubt I'll finish 100%.

they changed the locations of those feathers

Ha litteraly just finnished that an hour ago. Pause the game and go to DNA. Go to feathers and it will tell you what city you need. Than use an e-guid and just run through untill you find the ones you need.

I never truly completed a Pokedex in a Pokemon game. I've also never beaten a number of 007 games just because the final battles.

I once had only Mew left in Pokemon Red, then the game went to pieces and started a new game all by itself.
And I was only 8, I cried. A lot.

Watch a guide on youtube and it becomes really easy, Fellwarden and I did that and took that one on Veteran easily.

Well there is the 150 emblems in sonic adventure 2 battle that I never got... just missing the "get the best score, with each character, on each mission.." I got Rouge and Knuckle though. As well as Pokedexs...sorry Marter, we don't know each other, but to my defense, it's because I keep restarting my games when I get to the elite 4 for some reason. To be honest, the only game that I cleared at 100% is actually Banjo-Kazooie, (as well as Donkey Kong Country 1 and 3 with a friend), other then that, either some little things to do here and there (like Wind Wakers's pictures...... how long did I searched for the last home island trophy.. to discover it was a crab)

Have you ever owned a game enjoyed it well enough to play but you never finished it? i remember getting Donkey Kong64 and i still haven't beaten it which rreally bugs me. i mean its been over 10 years, 2 new game systems and i still haven't finished.

what game/s have you had a similiar experienece with?

same here for DK64, I realized I had to beat that donkey minigame again and said f@ck this.

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
The reason? When I first got it my friend lent me RE4 for the gamecube and in return I lent him LoZ:WW. in the end his brother scratched it so much that the game never got past the title screen. I almost beat it.

A year later I bought the game again and got to the same temple i was on my first game but I left it on my bed and went to sleep and since my dog usually slept on my bed he found the game and destroyed it. Never going to buy that game again. It's fate that I never beat it.

when i first got kingdom hearts (at around eleven) i couldn't beat riku for the life of me.
it didn't help that it was the first ps2 game i owned too.
