I remember the last time someone made a thread about giving birth... it did not end well.

As for names, Lilly, Rose, Eucalyptus? Damned, I need to stop it with all these retarded chewing gums.

But yeah, congrats.

Congratulations good sir, that sounds like a really perfect moment. I'm not sure about naming her after her mother, are there any other female family members on either side that you are close enough with to name her after?

Anyway, good luck!

Congrats to you and your partner. For the name, why not different, it will be less confusion and will help her build her own identity when she will grow up. I personally like Megan.

If shes anything like her mother 125k-250k is far too cheap for her... ;)

Congratulations, Melanie sounds good.

It fits, it's a name people will have heard of before yet, they probably won't know anyone called it, sounds like a winner to me. :)

PS: Good Luck, I wish you well in the coming years ^.^

PSS:Rose/Rosie?

Congrats, name it Darth. Or as a middle name. Like, Jennifer Darth Yourlastname. You could call her J.D.

Or name her Spencer, Alex, Ryann,or Dylan. I really love girls with guys' names, but its obviously up to you.

Oh, another idea:

Just saying.
Ask a bunch of nerds to name your kid, and you end up with The Boss...

I'm actually surprised that no one dug up that "ESPN -- A Girl's Name" picture from Failblog. :p

OT: Melanie sounds good.

Congrats on the new little girl

As far as a name goes... I suggest hmm.... Maria. That's a good name right? I'm sure what ever you pick will be the best

Cant call her dylan, as thats MY name, cant call her alex, as thats...alyx's name, cant call her spencer as that is a very 80's male name, cant call her Darth as thats a little too nerdy. Ryan is...um, a guys name as well. But then again, the tomboyish ones are more likely to get into gaming...
