I've watched all of it a couple of years ago and I was shocked, honest to God, shocked at how good it was. Seriously, really good voice acting, really good scripts and just strikingly great production.
But what surprises me more actually is that Reconstruction was even better (with agent Washington and all).
Great fucking series.
EDIT: Also, a little request, is it okay if I do machinima reviews too? I'm a huge fan of that stuff on the internet but I don't feel right ripping your concept off.

I find it interesting how RvB just started out with really little to no story really. There were gags tied to a loose "Red guys against blue guys in a boxed canyon" story, but then as it continued on into more seasons bigger and epic(er) stories evolved around already existing events. One complaint I always had in the original season (or maybe it was the second season this started) was when they kinda whored out certain characters for jokes. I'm talking how Doughnut was just a new guy and then involved into a raging homosexual, (does he know he's gay or is he in denial? I never figured that out). I mean, there's nothing wrong with him being gay, it adds to all the more outrageously funny situations they get into. But if you go back and watch the first few episodes with him in it, it's a totally different character.

RvB is still the best Machinima out there, with their newest seasons and series only proving they are still the kings of it. They've also gotten a lot better at panning out characters before hand, so my complaint is ancient history really.
I always thought Donut suffered brain damage from that stickie grenade to the head in season 1 and it changed his behaviour.

OT: A good review of my favourite machinima, are you by any chance going to review any of the mini series's that got released inbetween the main seasons.

While I'd love to comment on your review, one thing strikes me. You write an entire review about a Halo machinima WITHOUT EVER MENTIONING HALO. Sorry, that just struck me as rather odd.

I do love this series, though.

Actually, I think there was one group making what they called "Quake movies" before this. Guess what game they used?

But I do love RVB anyway. I have the 1st and 5th seasons on DVD. I would have the 4th and 2nd if Amazon.com hadn't ripped me off.

I love it all. Especially the 2nd-3rd-4th seasons.

Yes, yes RVB is awesome. And they did something with the newest episode, what looks to be custom animation, and it was freaking awesome.

Also; I do not want to catch pregnancy...

Caboose is awesome.

Newest episode was like a min or two minutes longer then usualy and was pure epic. :) I am liking how they do the episodes now with the pre-rendered animations (someone said they hired someone who made dead-fantasy or something like that.) anyone else like them?

Didn't like them in the previous episode because they stuck out too much, but the latest animations blended in better and worked quite well. No matter how well it's done I would still consider BGC better -story and comedic value wise- than the more recent series'.
