What game has greatly motivated you to kill the mini/final boss in a game? I mean there are many games which kinda run the story as, kill little things, kill the biggest thing. But some games seem to strike a chord and gives you this emotional tie in (boss kills your best friend whom you became very attached to or maybe the boss being a general dick is enough of an excuse). Either way, what boss have you really reeeeeeeeeeeally wanted to just kill out right there and then?
For me one would be paper mario when Tubba Blubba eats Stanley (poor stanley :(), I just had to redeem the poor guys life, there was no need for such a barbaric act against the little ghost :(

Definitely "The Guy" from 'I Wanna Be The Guy'.

I wanted to be The Guy but he stood in my path. He had to be taken down.

Sephiroth in Kingdom hearts 1 and 2, I think that my failure to beat him in FF7 at the time had rubbed me the wrong way, many hours were spent learning everything that he does and how to counter it just so I could repeatedly bash his face in... and I did... many times...

Dr. Fetus from Super Meat Boy. Those last six levels were so *$(# frustrating it made me want to snap my controller. I was all like "I have been trying for the past six hours to beat this guy, but I am NOT giving up because I am not going to let the hours I spent on this game be wasted!" (and that was just the light world. I am NEVER going to do the dark world.)de

This is a bit sad but General Raam from Gears of War 1 on Insane difficulty. The only reason being that it took me so long to beat him that it became an obession and so annoying that after I beat him I wasn't happy just kept swearing and gloating at his corpse....

Final boss of Persona 3. After such a long battle you just want to get it over with.

Let it out, let it all out. We've all been there bro. For me, he wasn't an end boss and there wasn't a reason that made me want to defeat him but it has to be that Flamethrower dude from Afro Samurai. He killed me like 9 times and I spent nearly the whole morning and when I finally got him I jumped outta my chair and said,
"Fuck You," with as much venom and malice as humanly possible. After that I promptly stopped playing. Truly an awful game.

Remiel from Tales of Symphonia. For doing something to a character I was really attached to, and insulting her and me and all of humanity in the process. First time I've ever gotten that angry at a game character. I may or may not have found myself screaming at the screen that I would shove my swords so far down his throat he'd be crapping steel in hell. Fortunately, I had the house to myself that night.

Actually, though, something like that may have happened even earlier in my life, with the Nasty Gatekeeper from Dynamite Headdy. For a similar situation, and backed up by <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SnwunBUlPFk>some seriously angry and seriously awesome music.

The Dragon Guy from No More Heroes 2.

I spent far too long trying to get his pattern down pat, and when I do, he switches it up!

Bishop Ladja from Dragon Quest V. In the SNES version he has a little role, but he's quite possibly the biggest scumbag in the DS version.

Anyone who played the game knows what I'm talking about.

If it's the DS version, you can defend against Big Bang.

Hmm... this is a tough one... I am pretty cynical so I don't get THAT emotionally involved with games nowadays... so instead I'm trying to remember when I was a kid.

*5 minutes of thinking*

Well after further introspection I can confirm that my most hated boss of all time is the King K. Roll from Donkey Kong 64.

Not only it took me over 3 years to finally beat that ************, I also hated him in every way possible. That was one overwhelming feeling of success when I finally dealt the final blow.
