"Okay... I'm confused. Would you be so kind to explain this slowly to me?" Kyu-Ya asked to Muhnat, "All of this is too much to take in at once."

Evela had been trying to gather his magical energy again, so he had not answered any of their questions. He had made a sufficient enough power to get them out of here, so he took he a few seconds to answer some questions.

"The way we are getting out of here is Magic, or if you want more information, the way we came in. I shall be opening another rift in space and time, to get us out from here." he explained to the obviously bewildered group.

He took a few extra steps away from everyone, and began a chant. Due to his already large build up of Energy, it took instant effect. The area around him began to warp and shift, through the eyes of anyone looking, it seemed that Evela himself was bending around the air. He drew out his weapon and cast the powerful magic into it, causing it to shine brightly.

He raised it above his head, and slashed down through the air, cutting the fabric of space and time, leaving a window to another place. That other place was just outside the village that they had been at earlier. It was a lush forest, full of greens, large untamed grass and a few wild animals walking around. Time had travelled quicker in purgatory, so it was now midday on the next day after the rift had opened.

The Demon was out of breath, and began to breath heavily, sweat dripping down his face. "Okay, that should get us all through." he said as he sheathed his weapon, stepping through the large rip.

As Evela stepped through, the sight struck him. He had set up this special rock as an anchor to this world, which he was glad had worked. It worked in theory, but he had not tried it before. He turned around to where the large walls of Ganutcha should be, but which were now missing. Instead, lay a few broken down walls, with large cracks through them. Instead of a prosperous city, lay a large gaping abyss in the ground.

Jason sighed, leaving Muhnat to himself and followed Evela out of Purgatory. Jason took a large breath of air the minute he stepped out, feeling the sun beaming down on his back, and the nice cool breeze that wafted through the lower levels of the trees.

Jason walked a few steps away from Evela and the portal, to take in the sights of the living world again, when he saw smoke rising into the air from what was left of Ganutcha. Jason saw the walls crumbling in upon themselves, and thought he still heard the screams of the women and children falling to their death in the great abyss.

Jason wanted to go back and help whoever he could, but he knew it would be futile... Demons would already be pouring out of the abyss, and anyone that was left wouldn't last the until Jason got there. His head lowered and his heart fell, he had known some of the villagers, and he was sad to see them die in vain. They hadn't even had the chance to defend themselves, they were, in a sense, ambushed.

"Were are we headed then Evela?" Jason said, his head still pointed down at the ground.

Evela kept the urge to try and help some people repressed. He turned away from the scene, "I think the enlightened would be the best choice. They are easily the most knowledgeable, and if anyone already knows about the existence of Demons it would be them. So they might believe us more than any others."

He fixed his blade at his waist, trying not to cut himself as he did so. The weapon still smoked from the heat and magic it had gone through a few seconds before.

"What if the Enlightened have been attacked by the demons? If the demons truly are as organized as you say, wont their leader attack the fraction that knows most about them to destroy all things that could be used against them?" Jason asked, turning to face Evela.

"Well, the Enlightened are not exactly the easiest targets..." Evela started to explain, still facing with his back to the broken town. "They are one of the strongest Factions, and if they were actually serious in this war, would have won along time ago. I learnt some of my Magic from Miranda, she is quite powerful, Me and her are the only ones who have developed White Magic enough to actually hurt people with it."

He turned around to face Jason, looking at him, not the scene behind him. "I doubt the Demons followers at their current power could defeat them. So that shouldn't be a worry."

"What of the less powerful factions? The Nomads to be precise, I mean we are strong when gathered together, but we are a scattered faction... we all roam in smaller clans, there is no way to bring us together without first finding Talon." Jason said, trying to remember were his cousin Talon said he would be headed this year.

"If you say the demons at this stage won't be a problem for the Enlightened I believe you, after all you would know more about them than any of us." Jason said, turning around so that his back was faced towards Evela, not as a sign of anger... Jason just didn't like looking people in the eye when he was thinking.

Everett walked through the rift, unphased, at this point by the power of the magic.

He stepped out and saw the town. ruined.

He turned to Evela and asked, "Do you know how long it will take to reach the enlightened? If it takes too long we will surely fail."

Orin followed Evela and the others through the large rip the had been created in the air. Stepping through, he found himself looking at the remains of the town of Ganutcha. a slight frown appeared on his face, as if he didn't quite understand what was happening.

"Evela, if we're no longer in 'purgatroy', and back outside Ganutcha, does that mean we're alive again?"

"It shouldn't take to long, last I heard they were the closest Faction anyway." Evela said, ignoring Jason who had just deliberately turned his back on him, "And its good to see some-one who is eager, Finally." he jested.

Orin's question made him think for a few seconds, "Um... I wouldn't exactly call us alive..." he respond, while still pondering his question, "I would call us still caught between living and non-living, there are ways to make us alive again, and I believe the Enlightened may know of its ware abouts."

When he finished talking, he had to check his hand to make sure the dot was still there. It was fairly small, only about 1 cm in radius. "Oh, and these black dots, keep a check on them. If they grow bug enough to engulf your hand, you will be sent back to Purgatory."

"Well that's always a pleasent thought." Repel said jokingly.

"What do we do if it starts growing, just hope for the best or is there a way to fix it?"

"The way to stop the growth is really easy." Evela said, taking a dramatic pause for a few seconds to breath, he was still tired from the spell he had just used. "Well, honestly, it is really confusing the magic behind it. But in an easy fashion, we are tethered to this magical item." he said as he cast his hands over a meter long totem sticking out of the ground.

"This is what is Keeping you alive for the time being. If it is destroyed, we die. That is why we really need to get a move on to the Enlightened."

Repel allows that thought to seep in for a few seconds before saying "...So if that is ever destroyed we all die.."

Repel turns to the destroyed town "How long do you think it'll take before something crawls out of that?"

If something DOES crawl out of that it'll surely take notice of this totem, and it very well may destroy it!

"Oh, they should be long gone. I cast a fair powerful spell around this, would you really think I would leave thin unprotected?" He pointed into the nearby trees, "If you look in there, there should be a charred corpse of a Fatwa."

He walked over to the totem, and yanked it out of the ground, "I never said it had to be here the entire time..."

"Wildrus is what we need you dope!" Evela yelled at Everett, "Oh wait... Sorry, I haven't told you that yet have I?..." he scratched the top of his head as his other hand pulled up his shawl to cover his mouth again, "Yeah, we need that Orb. We all do."

"Carrying something that holds our lives in to a fight isn't exactly the best idea."
"Ah well, it's our only choice I suppose."

"Hmm, a Fawta you say?"
"Ah yes, I remember reading about those before!"

Everett let at a great sigh,
"I swear, if the enlightened don't know anything, i'm going to go freakin' crazy!"
Everett remembered what evela said about the spot and checked his hand. It was fine.good. Everett continued,
"And if any of you run of with it, i will kill you."

This demon better not have any tricks up his sleeve...

"Would you prefer I leave it near the Demon infested region?" Evela asked him, then responded to Everett, "Don't worry, I think they actually own it. I am surprised you didn't actually check it out."
