A Breaking World ((Chapter 2: An Enlightened Path))

Jason heard his name a few times during the conversation between the others, but he thought nothing of it. Then he heard the thing that Everett said last, about Jason being one of his favorite people here.

In all honesty, Jason didn't care for some of the people here, and others he did care for. All he wanted was to bring himself back to life fully, and then he would decide whether or not to stay with this group.

'You don't understand magic, do you?'

'Your naiveity amuses me.'

Kyu-Ya sighed at the missed chanse to practice his magic and walked away from Evela. Stood next to Muhnat, looking at him giant snake.

"Don't you think it'd be odd if someone saw a giant snake slithering along the ground with all us on it's back?" Kyu-Ya asked, scratching behind his ears. It seemed that Evela could kill him but not the fleas, at least he'd have someting to ***** about later.

"HEY JASON! I've asked twice, i won't ask again. can you spare some freakin' bandages?" Everett shouted to jason. He had waited long enough.

Jason threw a glance over at Everett. Jason hadn't heard the first time, he had been deep in thought and was still bandaging up his own wounds. He grabbed a few of his rolled up bandages and whipped them across the field so that Everett could easily catch them.

No use in letting people die needlessly if Jason could stop his bleeding. He went back to thinking in silence away from the rest of the group.

Everett caught the bandages and imediatly got to work. he unrolled them and rapped them arond the hole in his arm. he didn't worry about the scratch on his face.

"Thanks!" Everett began, "But i think i'll keep these, just incase."

"Alright, I have half a pack full of more bandages anyway." Jason said in response. He said it loud enough so that anyone else in the group who needed bandages and any time during these next few weeks that they were traveling together, they knew who to get them from.

Muhnat got on the snake.
'Everyone get on! It's harmless and will get us were we want to go faster.'

Everett stood up and walked to the snake. He let out a huge sigh and got onto the snake.
"Any chance of me getting some sleep on this thing?"

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

'Get some when we arrive. It'll only be an hour.'
He stroked the snakes head.

Everett sighed again.
"Damn it. can we go? Hurry up guys!" Everett shouted, turning to the rest of the group.

 

[Sliverwings]

Kyu-Ya gulped and climbed atop the giant snake. It was exactly like a snake was supposed to be, scaly and slippery, he had to hold on with his hands just to stay put. He began to shake in fear, he gulped again and closed his eyes.

"Whenever y-you're ready..."

Chreos boarded the snake and attempeted to get into a comfortable position. He was still curious as to how it could travel a weeks distance in an hours time, he decided against asking how. As that would most likely lead to another condescending talk from Muhnat

Orin clambered onto the back of the snake and squeezed with his legs to hold himself in position. He was sceptical that the sanke could do what Muhnat said it could, but, then again, it wouldn't be the strangest thing that had happened to him today.

Alicia gave an apprehensive look towards boarding the giant snake, but seeing as it was the quickest way to the Enlightened, she hesitantly climbed upon the the snake as well.It surely wasn't a comfortable position for her but she expected that. The silver-haired girl began deep breaths as well, trying to calm herself down and not freak out, as Alicia was slightly afraid of these reptiles.

Chreos noticed Alicia's aprehension matched Kyu-Yas Afraid of snakes? Hilarious, and maybe exploitable.. he thought to himself.

"Dont worry, this shouldnt be too bad" he said, attempting a reassuring voice

Jason stood up and walked over to the snake, its eyes unblinking and cold. Jason shrugged, he had been closer to worse things than this. Jason walked to almost the back of the snake, running swiftly up its tail and finding a seat near the back of the snake.

As Evela looked at the snake, he shuddered, 'I swear to God, If they even tries to eat me, I will kill Muhnat.' he thought wickedly. He opened his eyes wide as he realised what he thought and shook is head, trying to clear the thoughts of killing away, 'No. Don't let your demonic instincts out...'.

He walked over and put his leg around the snake, "This is surprisingly comfortable." he muttered as he bounced up and down a few times. The snake turned around and hissed at him, to try and tell him to stop annoying him. He did so instantly.

What other tricks does this mage have up his sleeve Repel began to ponder
The most I've ever been able to summon so easily is a mere imp, and those things are da_ near useless!

Repel clambered his way on to the snake I've always been quite fond of snakes.
