A Breaking World ((Chapter 2: An Enlightened Path))

"Thanks. It could be usefull. I don't even know what it does! My chieftan just said that it'd save the village. Well the quest does have some decent perks...Like my swords...They were enchanted by a mage." Everett said putting his right fist in his left hand.
He hesitated a moment and took a sip from his drink. He then finished the drink in one go. His hands resumed the stance.
"It's a good thing alchohol dosn't get me drunk..." He muttered quietly.

'What the fuck!'
He fell of his chair.
'Ah shit!'
He got back up and pulled the chair up.
'What was that about?'

"hehehehe...that was amusing..." everett laughed.

'Shut up! Don't act like it didn't take you by suprise!'
He brushed himself off with his hands.

Nathair walked into the bar, looking for the man who would be signaling to him.

NorthernWind shot a glare at whoever had criticized him. Then he flailed his arms and landed butt-down on the ground. He growled, What the hell...?

"actually, i'm used to this kind of thing. Back in my village...well, lets not go into that..."

"Okay, what was that?" Chreos said standing up from his chair looking around the suddenly empty bar, this wont end well... he thought to himself

'If this is normal in your village, remind me not to go there.'
He sat back down.

"Chreos is right. you need to tell us whats happening!" Everett said loudly.

Nathair grabbed the bar and tried to stay standing, it was made even harder with people pushing him and shoving in an attempt to get out.

Evela sighed, "Well, I can't really see the harm" he pushed his chair back and stood up. He grabbed his right shoulder, and started to windmills with it, "I always hated having to do this..." he said.

He put his arm back by his side, and began doing more windmills to try and loosen his back muscles. He rolled up his sleeves, pushing them to be just above his elbow. "Don't be afraid" he remarked.

He began to shine slightly, his skin reflecting light more than normal, he seemed to be ever so slightly glowing. A small tearing noise came from his back, as 2 large wings spread from there. They were made of pure white feathers, and each had a span of 1 metre from his shoulders. They spread wide, stretching out as much as they could, each wing touching the roof.

The receded back into a much smaller position, now bent at halfway through, it went a foot above his head then back down to touch the ground. "Now, sit back down, and relax."

 

[Zirat]

Chreos was unfazed by this, having seen much stranger and worse things in his youth. "So, you aren't human? Well, we all have our little secrets, and if you feel like spilling them more power to you. But that still doesnt answer what just happened outside." he said eyeing the new wings Evela had

"HOLY-... What kind of magic is that? back in our village, we had orbs that helped with shape shifting, but this... this is crazy!" Everett admired the wings with awe.

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

He chuckled.
'Holy magic, a more powerful version of White magic, largly unknown.'
He leaned forward.
'You're an angel! Tell me, heaven or hell?'

"Wait...you know, i think i have actually read about holy magic before. quiet remarkable. I met a mage that owned a huge library. I cleared every single one of his books in 2 hours." Everett described.
"Oh right, sorry, yeas very intriguing." He snapped back to the topic of conversation.

 

[Dragon_of_red]

"Oh this isn't shape shifting. These are real." he said as he spread his wings yet again, then proceeded to flap them a few times, the force of the winds blowing hair back and knocking over some drinks. "Your very close, some may call me an angel, but in reality, I am just a good demon. You know how in regular life most people are good, then there are the select few who are pure evil? It's the opposite in the Demons realm, most are bad, the good ones are just seen as Angels" he explained.

His wings went back to their shell, right behind Evela. "Now, in a minute, something is going to happen, you will not like it, but it was inevitable."

Now there I can't do anything else really until tmo99 posts... Which they live in America, so I don't know what time it is there, so it may be some time.

The opposite to what is commonly thought. Inteiging. And from experiance most people are what you could call nuetral.'
He felt a weak shaking.

 

[Sliverwings]

Kyu-Ya was slowly regaining his sight and hearing on the floor. In their mad dash for the door, someone pushed him down and many more trampled his face. He caught a hint of blood in his mouth and moved his toungue around to examine. He found that one of his canines had been knocked out. He spit it out in his palm and stood up shaking his head. He turned to the rest of the group and was frozen in awe at the stranger's wings. He rubbed the back of his head and whinced with slight pain.

"How bad did I hit my head..."

"That's right Evela. although, i fear that i may be veering to the path of evil...i am trying to prevent it as much as possible..." Everett said darkly.
