Everyone I have ever met there has been super friendly (even in New York). Customer service in every shop is excellent compared to England. Taxis are super cheap compared to London.
I wont move to London.... I like that we have freedom of speech, so you can tell off everyone :D

We're not socialists? The govt. can't tell me what I can say? I think most people really hate us because that is what is the norm. Honestly, I don't like many Euro countries.
Actually it's not the norm. Maybe in some countries, but I know that censorship is frowned upon up here. Up here the reason for any anti-American sentiment is because the stereotype is that Americans are arrogant, self centered idiots with a superiority complex. Even though it's not true about the majority of the American populace, unfortunately the people that are that way are much louder than the rest.

Isn't if funny how 1 person can make 10 people look dumb?

Edit: And by funny I mean sad.

It makes me feel smart, and glad to live in England.
For example this 1 guy makes all of you Brits look like prideful jerks. Even though I doubt that you are. l:

Yes, so funny it makes me cry a little inside. What I'm wondering is why, in pretty much every country, do we put these sort of people in power? o_O

I HATE BLACK PEOPLE!

I could scream that in a mall and not suffer any consequences, except for maybe getting my white ass jumped.

Well, I live there, and my life doesn't totally suck... yet.
Aside from that, the fact that, contrary to popular belief, not all Americans are horrible people. Admittedly, a lot are, buuuut not all of them.

The uh...

um...

ehhh...

...native Americans?
Not sure that counts, since they were here before it was America, but yeah.
No, they weren't. That's like saying, 'What was the tallest mountain before Everest was discovered?' TRICK FUCKING QUESTION, it was still the tallest before it was discovered.

Also, they're not all dead, although in many states three or more walking down the road can legally be considered a raiding party and fired upon.
Yyyyeahhhh. You want to be the one to put that to the test? I'd be interested to see how long that argument holds up in court before you get sent to Federal Pound-Me-In-The-Ass Prison until you crumble to dust.

Also, they weren't here before it was America? Who left all those arrowheads lying around then? O . o

hollywood movies are so much better than every other country who makes movies
At least in terms of special effects; I love Japan, but when this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmPV7OoqmkE] is what passes for special effects, it makes me very, very sad. And that came out in 2003. (Note: It's still a damn good movie.)

The first amendment is pretty sweet, that plus there are people who are willing to defend it on my behalf. The whole checks and balances idea is also pretty cool.

The snowsport. Man, that's easily the worst thing about Australia, if I'm lucky I'll get a solid week of boarding in, in the states you can be carving it up all winter.

The freedoms, the sights, the people, the diversity, and our sheer size is rather comforting. Its like, I can go hundreds of miles east and still be in my country, with people who speak my language, and have my culture...its nice, ya know.

And, we are one of the hardest working, most self-critical country in the fucking world. Seriously, do you guys know how many Americans constantly find problems with America? Its just that the jackasses are...well, actually, one poster said it better than I: Its funny how 1 person can make 10 look dumb.

And by funny, we mean sad.

Now, does America have problems? Fuck yeah. We're still puritanical about sex, every generation we have to fight a NEW battle to ensure the rights of a new kind of minority (We're working on the gays this time around)...and yet, we still fight the good fight.
