I'd hate to be that guy. You know, the one that, in a gunfight, sticks his head up for one tiny second and then pays for it. Games, films, books, whatever - I'd hate to be THAT guy. If I was to die I'd rather die doing something useful.

Anyone other then your character in a horror game on the victim side. Especially the one who gets pulled away from the rest of his squad by the evil and gets gored. It's even worse when the the rest of the squad finds him and HE'S STILL ALIVE!

That's news to me. I can't think of any video game character that I'd like to "be". Though I can think of several video game universes I could consider to be in.
In fact, not even the characters I play when I play table-top RPG's are people I'd realy like to be, and those characters are figments of my own imagination, basically the coolest and most interesting people I could come up with (which beats video game characters of someone elses invention any day of the week).
I love being myself, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Making pretty much ALL video game characters into people that I REALLY DON'T want to be at all.
