I highly doubt the writers of this show had this in mind, but this was still a very interesting read so far. I read about a quarter of it, and then my mind spontaneously exploded. Good job, man.

That was a good take on things but although wasn't he travelling with Pikachu before when he was hit by lightning or wasn't it pikachu hitting him with lightning or was this before all this and I have forgot.

If I remember correctly, he was hit by lightning while trying to save Pikachu. He got zapped by a bolt of lightning on his way to the Pokecenter.
