It is most likely, never to elave the shores of Japan (or Hell, if you look through Yahtzee's view).

Pretty much Dragons Lair, been done ages ago.
Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit) as well. That game was amazing, but only because it implemented the QTEs insanely well (until the last third, I mean).

Already done, Dragon's Lair, Transformers on SEGA CD, and a couple others.

They weren't that great.

Yeah, I immediately thought DDR when I saw this. Which it pretty much is.

Or IIDX, which is like DDR but with 7 buttons and a turntable.

Isn't this kind of just like rock band or guitar hero stlye which basicly just hitting the bottons they tell you to. But I would like more control rather then just following prederterminded paths with quick time

There was this really obscure Power Rangers game that used footage from the show and had arrows pop up that you had to press. I believe the rate was one every second or so. That is literally all there was, quicktime events.

Actually, all rhythm games are just a long series of quicktime events put to music. The music helps, though. Also the fact that a single miss does not condem you to suffer through an entire cutscene again.

I kinda liked the QTEs from the RE and God of War games. It won't be the worst thing ever, just less annoying cause you KNOW that the entire game is QTEs.

I thought the guitar hero and the dance dance games were quick-time events...
Yes, that's it. No need to discuss this because those games actually exist already. They sell pretty well, too.

As said several time above DDR and guitar hero are practically nothing but quick time events. so yeah it would work, it does work and it's great.
