I hope you're happy. Yahtzee hung himself in his office the very second he read this.

Oh God, no! Please, don't give them that idea! They'll try to make some crap movie into an overly-long game of Simon Says! And try to get $60 from us for it!

wouldn't that be like...an interactive movie? yeah i'm pretty sure the industry tried that back in the 90's and it failed. but hey who knows, 3D has made a comeback.

You remember when Yahtzee said something about his psychological profile and there was a picture of a dead guy and two police, with the words "Press X to not die" written in blood on the walls? If there was a game comprised entirely of quick time events, that might come true.

Anybody played the demo for Ninja Blade? Nope? Couldn't say I'm surprised if you haven't but most of that game is quick time events from what I can gather from the little taster. Think Ninja Gaiden, but really really shitty with QTEs every time you change areas.

The new Ninja Blade game (or whatever it's called) comes close to this. I only played the demo but I never even made it all the way through that. Constant quick-time events just made it unplayable for me.

I am hoping it makes it onto ZP next week.

If they made a game based more or less entirely off of "Press X to not die" I would think "more like PRESS X TO NOT BUY! A-HOHOHOHO!"

isnt there Shimanu (thats spelled wrong) on the xbox? It was the one where this dude was looking for his young sister that was captured by the mafia in japan. Every time you got into a fight there were several quick time events in a row. It was pretty well done

...And then chain Yahtzee to it...and watch. Best entertainment. Ever.

Isn't this more or less the entire premise of Wario Ware, Inc.? Granted, many of the "microgames" are more than just one button press at the right time, but otherwise most of them fit the defention pretty well.

Pretty much Dragons Lair, been done ages ago.
Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit) as well. That game was amazing, but only because it implemented the QTEs insanely well (until the last third, I mean).
I must agree with how well done the Indigo Prophecy sequences were, but I don't recall any problems with them in the last third...

If its done well, I'd buy it.
