Soldier of Fortune 2.... I loved that game, despite its weird story and ridiculous mustache.

AND it had Mark Hamill....

Urban Chaos. Not to be confused with the more recent (and not as good) Urban Chaos: Riot Response. This Urban Chaos is a third-person action adventure and fighting game from 1999, released on the PC, PS1 and Dreamcast. It was one of my favourite games back in the day, with fun and varied gameplay and great atmosphere. However, it seems to be very obscure and I don't know anyone who's heard of it.

Rainbow six for PS1 no one I know ever heard of it exept one of them that payed it together whith me.... and he still say it sucked.
It did suck mang, sorry. I felt that it was virtually unplayable, I could barely figure out what was going on half the time.

For me, Omega Boost for PS1. You're a giant flying robot in outer space and you have missles and lasers and sich, and there's an awesome target lock-on system. All the badguys are like polygonal balls with glowing red centers. I loved that game, played it every day after school at EB. Then I got a PS1 for my very own and bought it. I don't know where it is now, but mang did I love that game.

I'd have to agree with the first Zone of the Enders, one of the best ps2 games ever but almost nobody remembers it.
I remember it.

I loved it, too! Hell, Unskippable did a riff of it.

I remember being frustrated by the first boss(the octopus guy) a few times before realizing the strategy/strategy I came up with to beat him.

Oh, and I've never seen anyone else mention Heart of Darkness. Not once in 12 years.

Burning Rangers. That game was fantastic. You shot fire with lasers. Never hear it mentioned any more.
Took me freaking ages to set up that Saturn Emulator for you and you barely even played the damn thing. So much for your crazy laser fireman game.

I'm actually looking up Philosoma on ebay and realising it was never released in Europe now; I played it when I was young due to my uncle's voracious appetite for import games.

can you say Gundam Battle Assault?
Ahh that was a fun game...

Wonder if anyone recalls the original Fallout, Masters of Magic, and Xcom... some know the series by name but never played them.

Primal. I can't remember if it was any good, though.
Was that the one with the Girl having to go to 4 different worlds(one full of Hunters, one full of Wraiths, one full of Fish-People, and another full of Fire Djinn)?
Yes, yes it was. There was also a little gargoyle sidekick, who became distinctly badass in the endgame.

Close Combat: First to Fight, one of my favorite FPSs of all time.

And also, Freedom Fighters, no one I talk to knows what it is.

OT: I would say Final Fantasy Tactics Advance...
I mean, everyone talks about the original... I loved this version
I've heard of that! It was the game that got me hooked on RPGs.

It was on the Gameboy Advance, and was a turn based strategy RPG, sort of like a little brother to the original FFT. A bunch of kids find a magic book, which then changes their world into the magical world (or, at the very least, continent) of Ivalice. Magic, fighting, drama, and Moogles ensue.

These may be more popular than I think, but I never seem to hear anyone talk about the original Ape Escape, or Azure Dreams. Both were great games for the Playstation (though I think there was an Azure Dreams for the Gameboy as well, but I don't know if it was before or after the Playstation version) Oh, also Illusions of Gaia. No one that I know has ever heard of it.
