A game that you just can't play.

What's the game that you simply can't play?
Whether it be the quality of it, moral obligation or perhaps you've played it so many times over, you can't bear yourself to do it again.

For me it has to be Dante's Inferno.
Everything just seems so wrong about it.

And I just tried to play Alpha Protocol again after people are still calling it a good game. Its shit. I played it through the first time, and it was shit, and I tried again to see if I was missing something, and its shit. Its a third-person game and the camera doesn't even fucking work!

Red Dead Redemption.

Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic game, with a brilliant story.
I just can't play it.

I find it so boring and dry, yet I'm not entirely sure why I feel that way towards it. Even Undead Nightmare I found to be an effort to play. And it has zombies in it!!

Basicly any Rockstar game like GTA although I enjoyed Red Dead. GTA 4 seemed rather dull, couldn't get into it at all.

Otherwise, there isn't at least one game in most genres I don't like. Except for strategy games, but I haven't played many of those.

I never understood sports games.
It's sports... but without the sports.

Oh, and i can never play Oblivion again.
Played it just far too many times before.

Any type of existing sport game, be it american football, basketball, ice hockey, soccer, golf, cricket, tennis, ping-pong....you name it. I did not get into gaming to play a game of an existing real life game. I wanted new experiences....stories....atmosphere...immersion.

Aforementioned things sports games are not...therefore they can eat shit and die. All of them. At once.

The mouse acts like a joystick, i.e. moving it from a central position is interpreted as turning, as opposed to having to constantly move ht e mouse to turn. It sucks because I was having quite a bit of fun with the game.

I had to really power through the beginning of that game to enjoy it.

OT: Command and Conquer. I tried it because I enjoy RTSes and I had heard that C&C is great but i couldn't get into it.

Thing is though, everything else was excellently transferred to the PC. The shooting, vertical cover, and even the ground-based jetpack stuff is very well done. The rocket pack, though, is a ball of fail and misery. The salt in the wound, though, is that it can use an Xbox controller, but I don't have one.

Dungeons and Dragons Online. I've got no idea what the reason is as I'm playing another game that controls pretty similarly to it and that's why I couldn't get into DDO. I mean, I like DnD, I like MMOs, I should like this, right? I just can't though. Ah well.

Borderlands. I borrowed it from a friend once, got to about level 5 with a sniper, and thought, "Man, this sucks. Maybe I'm just playing the wrong class." I then reached level 5 with every other class, and just couldn't get interested. I've heard it gets better later, or that playing co-op is more fun, but I just can't be bothered to try it again.
