It's time for the question that has been asked 1,000,000 times already.

I like MMOs, even though I do get bored quite quickly for some games (Shaiya Online), while most keep my interest till max level, when there I do get bored (Atlantica Online).

Well, anyone here play a good MMO that you would like to share with me?

MMOs I have already played:
World of Warcraft
Runescape (Yuck)
Atlantica Online
Shaiya Online
Guild Wars
Perfect World
Mabinogi
MapleStory (Double Yuck!)
EvE (Thanks Volstag9)

That's all I can think of. I'll try ANYTHING!

I'm looking into Runes of Magic, is it good in your opioin?

A GOOD, FREE mmo? well i suppose you could try Dungeons and dragons online. or perhaps runes of magic. A third might be Chronicles of Spellborn. (i really have no idea how good any of them are)

if you want to try a P2P game you can always try EVE it seems pretty good

EDIT: Runes of Magic seems ok. ive heard its a bit like WoW. But Im probably not the best source of info.

Runes of Magic is as close to WoW as you can get for free. I liked it better, actually because of the dual-class system, and the fact the the armor/gear looks alot less retarded; you actually look like a knight right from the get-go, instead of a clown covered in pots-and-pans painted by other clowns.

That sounds sweet. I am going to have to try it.

Well, one mmo I've played recently that I have enjoyed was the Dead Frontier mmo. It's a zombie survival mmo, website is http://www.deadfrontier.com It can be pretty fun at times, roaming a city in a group searching for loot.

One I used to play way back when was RF Online, it used to be the standard MMO fee but it's free now. To say it's free and quite old now it's quite a pretty game.

You MMO jump a lot...

Anyone know if Anarchy Online is still free? It's a bit dated, but there's a lot of content there.

Strangely I find Atlantica Online fun(I usually hate most f2p mmo)
Atlantica was the most fun I have ever had in an MMO. Max level character+ level 1 PVP

I would have said guildwars but you've already tried that. That's one of my favorites and I still play. it's free. Also Mabinogi, there's another one of the ones I liked. and I would have recommended either of them. Only other one I can suggest is Sword of the New World. its a great game, but at the high levels its TOTALLY Pay to Win. But until level 100 its great. really nice free to play game.

xD take this from someone who's played over 100 MMOs.

I have no idea what really appeals to you but Grand Fantasia seems alright to me right now and I had some fun with Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine. Dunno if you would be interested or not.

Atlantica has a massive problem of trying to whore your money with more and more completely game-imbalancing-just-by-existing cash items that get more and more absurd till eventually there's nothing to see for fucking 4 story tall mecha robots IN A FANTASY GAME. Plus the game has a level grind made in place SPECIFICALLY for aggravating the player into spending as much money as possible, and even then it doesn't accelerate the mind-numbing trekking and samey grind. And this grind not just applies to your character, but your other 8 characters that you will have to constantly not just upgrade but replace entirely.

If they fixed the 90s level area now, since they only had that in place to keep people playing longer when 110/120/130 didn't exist and now it does, and even remotely gave a damn about the players (random lottery tickets instead of just getting the damn cash items, so $10 for a CHANCE to get something worth $10, at the chance of about 2-75 odds or so and reckless disregard for the in-game economy) then it would be a perfect MMO, since that's all I can complain about on the top of my mind.

If you like Borderlands or got some time to check it out, I'd probably recommend what I'm playing now, Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst. It's free and it's "Sonic Team during Sonic Adventure 2", so it's pretty good. Official servers are shut so you can find a private server such as SCHTHACK or Ultima in google and play right away with few problems.

Dungeons and Dragons. Ragnarok Online with private servers or Valkyria, RO's free server... but inferior to premium servers.

Guild Wars is awesome, but you still have to pay for the box. Then... it's free for life.
