The original Kingdom Hearts was awesome, but I greatly prefer Kingdom Hearts 2 to the first one. It's my favorite game of all time, along with Aquaria.

Also, while both are great games in their own right, I enjoyed the combat of Mass Effect 2 a lot more than Mass Effect 1.

Each one has its own merits, but in both cases, the sequels are a lot more fun to play. And games are ultimately about gameplay, so yeah.

I've never played Crackdown 2, but other than that, you've pretty much named all of my picks. Except for one. Halo 2. You heard right! It's my favourite game in the series.

Fable 2 wasn't better, but it was tighter I thought of a game.

I liked all the Ratchet and Clank sequels (save deadlocked, which I never p;layed) better than the first. They just kept getting tweaked around.

You too. Get out. The doors over there.
Dude for Bioshock, the game play was vastly improved over the first. The story was not tho, at all, in the slightest. It wasn't bad but yeah.....

KOTR 2? I liked KOTR 1 never got around to playing the sequel, but i heard it was awesome...

A sequel i actually played and enjoyed better than the first one would be Empire Earth 2.
The sequel got rushed out the door so some plot threads and the ending kind of took a major hit, but I prefer the second game's overall tone and feel to the first.

I think Super Mario Bros. 3 is perhaps the greatest sequel ever.
