A Great Show Called 'Doctor Who':

I started to watch Dr.Who with the post 2000 seasons
I like it, ocasionally it is cheesy, but mostly fun (and sometimes you get a glance at how cruel Doctor can actually be)
What puzzles me is "the Time War"- was it addressed in older seasons?

I think I'm not 100% that the time war is always referenced but has never been shown... don't quote me on that I've only watched bits and pieces of the classic Dr.

I don't get the Doctor Who love either. The writing is terrible: contrived, sickeningly-sentimental ad completely frivolous towards any attempt to establish some of its universe's own rules.

Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, Doctor Who, Dungeons and Dragons etc. Basically I've never bothered with a lot of stuff associated with geeks/nerds. Mainly because I was playing video games that much.
