I've just been looking at some A.I robots some pretty cool stuff mainly by Dr. David Hudson....robot that can recognise, sympathise and understand you with very realistic faces. I was wondering there must be a computer program out there that works like a sci-fi spaceship computer...i mean most laptops have a webcam and microphone...the technology is there is'nt it? Anybody know of something like this? would be pretty cool to talk to my computer and pretend i'm in space......

I actually had a discussion about AIs the other, the mayor problem i see with the concept is Creativity. A computer normally is programmed by a person to respond in a certain way to a certain stimuli, so with enough time you can encode anything, the problem lies on a computer been hable to deal with a problem which hasnt been programed in its code
