Gotta point it out, it's impossible to protrude inward. It would be intrude. Protrude implies outward-ness.
That was by way of being the joke.

Wow, now I feel like an ass for not believing you on MSN.

I thought you were just trying to fuck with my head...

AGH! I spent 3 hours trying to convince you. An amusing and ironic backfiring of my plan.

Try to be more original next time.
Just as planned.

ON TOPIC: It seems the people I talk to in real time have little issue with this change, while the passers by and established users I don't chat with have become a little indignant. It also seems one-on-one confessions of the 'secret' yield more positive responses than bad. Could it be that people like being one of the 'schemers', but hypocritically feel hurt to have been schemed?

As a comitted celibate, none of these observations relate to me! I do not adhere to this mythical protocol regarding dealing with the opposite sex, I pander to none and treat males and females with equal contempt!
For me, none of what you said rings true.

So does this mean I'm an exeption to the rule!

It makes me wonder why you've chosen celibacy.

I think it's because the way in which you type has a sort of... voice about it, which gave absolutely no indication that you were female. That's why I was so shocked during Escapism; it was almost as if you were the exact antithesis of who I perceived you to be in real life. In fact, the only thing that convinced me to believe you were a girl was that you had an obsession with your little Cairne Terrier (a creature I can't see a man adoring at all).

EDIT: And it seems that a lot of people mixed me up with Xhumed as well. I have no idea why.

Bah! Must! Avert! Eyes!

The cuteness...

EDIT: Actually, Terriers are a whole lot less annoying better than most yippy dogs out there, so I agree with you.

So, to clarify, you're not a girl.

I vaguely remember a thread about you being a girl.

I presume this is the prestige moment after you've tricked us.

The whole thing sounds really interesting. I'm a bit confused by everyone who has gotten really upset if they weren't directly affected.

Out of curiousity, do you think your tone changed during the experiment? It sounds like you kept the same personality but surely having people treating you differently meant you treated them differently in turn.

I thought about not revealing my gender but considering my first thread I didn't have much choice. I usually feel that as long as I'm not overtly feminine (ie. I act like my normal self) nobody cares.

Men should just be wondering if they treated you with enough respect that you'll try and hook them up with the chick wearing the neck scarf ;-D
And I'll nip that one in the bud. She's taken, and I'm not hooking anyone up with her.

I was going to say something about the actual writing, but then I saw 'Rockerjoe". Epic artwork, Labyrinth, just epic.

As has been said before, I have no idea what the hell this is about.

That said, such experiments are actually interesting; I've done something similar a step further/back (matter of perspective). The level of anonymity is great for figuring out all sorts of stuff, and roleplaying a female in a game as a male can be a very interesting way to see the world through the eyes of the opposite sex. Along with that, you don't need to hurt or insult anybody.

Perhaps things like these are the stepping stone to projects that allow (virtual?) temporary sex-changes because no matter what your sexuality is, looking through the eyes of the opposite sex can provide people with a lot of interesting insights.

There were times when I acted a little siller, but whenever there was an argument I was certainly my usual beligerent self, but the reactions to that self were greatly altered.

Now here's the next question: comparing people reacting to finding out your a girl when they thought you were a boy, with them finding out that you are a boy when they thought you were a girl.
While the 'friends' were always going to be a little random in their reactions, the passers by commenting are quite telling. For my previous 'reveal', they dropped in to compliment and laugh. Here, the passing 'intellectuals' only pause long enough to assure us all that thread isn't the kind of thing that would make such refined gentlemen as themselves care enough to post.

I've never met her in person, or Labyrinth for that matter, so my ability to introduce people to other people is about as effective as UN trade sanctions on Korea. Whahaha.

And it seems that even if I could introduce you, it would be to no effect.
