Acento walked down the street, the shop he was looking was around here somewhere. At last he found and entered, a small man, getting on in life, stepped out from behind the counter and shook his hand.

"I take it you have to deliver my furs mister Malankov?"

As way of reply acento pulled out a few pelts or varying sizes and textures. The shopkeep smiled and took them behind the counter.

"and here is your payment."

He handed Acento a bag, inside it was pretty much anything he would need on his journey: flints, tinder, spare pieces of cloth, food, water, some more tobacco and a few bottles of whiskey.

"Thank you kind sir, I shall leave you to your shop".

Acento left, he had time to kill. He decided to find a tavern near the docks and sit there for a while.

Ra'ive sat in the dark smoky tavern and observed the other patrons from his shadowy spot in the corner.

'Perhaps Ellondra's guards have locked up the poor fellow?'

But his fears were put to rest when he saw the familiar, yet slightly older than last time, rat faced man he knew as his connection to the Wesburg black-market enter the tavern. Ra'ive stood and made his way over to him, deftly avoiding the stumbling drunks and 'ladies of the evening' that had apparently decided to ply there trade round the clock.

When Ra'ive neared the man he shoulder checked him roughly as if by accident, causing him to stumble. The man looked up at Ra'ive, his eyes ablaze but they were cooled when he saw who it was. A flash of recognition swept across the man's face before he turned away and walked over to the bar.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Minutes later the man emerged and walked across the dusty street to were Ra'ive had been patiently awaiting his arrival.

"Long time no see, what's it you need? Speak quickly, I've drinking to return to" the man spoke, trying to sound more tough than he was. In fact there was an obvious tinge of nervousness in his voice that made Ra'ive smile briefly before he began to list the items he wanted from the man.

20x throwing knives = 40g (2 per dagger as they were for Slycne)
Large bag of Ceaweed & Small pouch of BlackRock = 170g

"Are you certain you won't be needing a sweater, my Lady?"

Ellondra sighed, packing away what few extra items would fit in her bags; extra rations, matches. A few items to further her bug collecting while she was gone. "No, I doubt I'll have need of seasonal clothing. I ought to pack a couple shirts, though. I've been going through blouses rather quicker than intended."

Once packed, she lingered in the hall of her home briefly before nodding to the servant and slipping out the door again. No sense in staying for a proper visit if it meant missing the ride out. The Sergeant made her way to the docks to find Enalia and their waiting ship, seeing that Vik'nar had had the same idea.

"No sir, y've want wharf three not dock three. Yah can't hold but sloops and smaller up to a dock. The wharfs are fa ships with deeper hulls."

I guess that's what I get for taking the word of a twice drunkard deckhand. Vik'nar thought to himself. Spotting Ellondra coming round the corner a few yards away, he flashed her a smile and beckoned her over as he paid the cabin boy double what he had the last man. He sent the lad on his way.

Acento strolled down the dock, taking in the sights and smells of a shipyard. He had planned to be a sailor at one point but that never worked out. He noticed Vik'nar and Ellondra up ahead and called out to them.

"I'm going to find somewhere to have a drink or two, care to join me?"

"So I'm told we can find Enalia around wharf three, our ship aught to be moored there as well. Care to accompany me? I can share with you what I've learned." He said once she'd gotten closer. "Uncle still likes too much honey in his tea." He muttered that comment under his breath to himself with a internal chuckle.

"Oh. Were you able to retrieve everything you needed?"

---

A short time later. "I'm going to find somewhere to have a drink or two, care to join me?"

Vik'nar gave the man a curious look. "Acento, we still have business to attend to."

Or have you forgotten. The words playing across his face.

"but maybe we'll catch up later. We still need find our contact and have them make us ready to sail at earliest opportunity. You can come with us or might I suggest trying to round everyone up, perhaps at that tavern." He pointed to one of the many establishments that littered near the docks waiting to accept the money had been burning holes in pockets out to sea. Worldmother's Tears seemed a shade above the rest of the dives and as good as place as any to meet. And if he wants to have a few drinks before we set sail, fine. Two birds one stone.

"I suppose you're right, where to?"

Acento felt a little sheepish, Vik'nar did have a point, he'd have time to drink later.

Evela had spent the last hour wandering up and down the beach, he had never seen it before, it amazed him. The slight blue and gree tinge of the water, the crashing waves, they mesmerised him. He waded into the water, he could swim decently, having swum in lakes before, just not the open ocean. He went swimming for a while, before finally getting out, and then realising how cold he was. So he lay in the sun untill he dried off and warmed back up.

When he was finally warm, he went over to the docks. He saw Vik'nar, Ellendra and Acento talking, he wandered over there. "Hello" He said to the group, "This place is loveley".

Acento noticed Evela approach, he seemed in a good mood.

"Yes it's quite nice, why the spring in the step?"

"I agree quite the town, and we are headed for wharf three." It was nice to see the monk had had the foresight to stick to their goals, although Vik'nar didn't put it past him that he'd only shown up on happenstance.

It was curious that they hadn't seen Landon or Rai've yet. He began to lead his horse in the direction the cabin boy had indicated, occasionally stopping to ask for Enalia when they got closer.

The hour drew quite late and dusk had well settled with the stars now shining and the moon basking the puddles and the ocean at their view.

"That will be it for me, I must return to my duties"
Evy turned on his heel and paid the barkeep before leaving for the front door.

--

As Vik'nar and his companions drew closer to the pier of which the ship was located, a fairly beautiful young lady clad in brown boots and a white sailor's shirt with a jeweled and yet ragged jacket over it looked up from her business and stepped to address Vik'nar. Ragged but yet nicely kept trousers and a ring in one ear marked her as a pirate, the other wares marked her as a captain.

"Aye I know who Enalia is, what's it to you?"
The woman said with a grim voice. As she spoke, over two dozen of men dressed in similar clothing rose up from their duties on the ship behind the woman and they all got ready to draw their weapons and charge.

Subtle. Was the first sarcastic thought that entered his head. He practically had to bite his tongue to keep the word from escaping.

He shook his head from side to side in momentary frustration. "So Enalia then I take it?" Best get this over with before this turns into a mess. He eyed Evela to check that the mage wasn't about to make another scene and then turned back to repeat the phrase the King had given them. "A ride is needed."

Enalia's eyes went grim as she studied Vik'nar's face once he spoke the words.
After a few moments of glaring and studying, she finally lowered her hand that she had been keeping in a steady position, to signal the men that there was no danger.

"Well, ye' gonna have to forgive me, me and my men have already encountered travelers who didn't know the code, and we were forced to do some dirty work.... don't inform anyone of this"

Enalia's men went back to work and the Captain herself walked over the crossing plank over to her ship.
"This is the 'Grim Lass', ye' be staying 'ere for a while so get used to it. Take whatever time you need for commendations, we are ready to set sail at dawn. Feel free to use the quarters for the night or browse our various inns if it pleases you. I will be in my quarters if ye' need me"

Enalia waited for someone to talk to her while she was there before she retired to her cabin.

--

Meanwhile, Evy had crossed some of the piers and was relieved to see that there was not another fight aboard the ship, instead he came to the ship, finding it just how he left it -save for the unknown travelers.

Ellondra scowled. These did not look the sort with which she should lay her trust.

"I feel I'll decline the offer of housing." She turned to Vik'nar, hesitating before offering, "My estate is in the north block. There's room enough for our traveling party, though I cannot offer you as good a meal."

Interesting lot. Vik'nar thought. Granted, the King did place trust in present company as well though.

"Thank you for your hospitality." He said directly to Ellondra, sensing the hesitation and trying to not make that any more awkward then it seemed to be for her. Truth was he was most interested in seeing where she called home, much in the same way she'd observed his own dwelling.

"Captain, we'll see you at dawn." Calling back as he turned to head off the wharf. He made a glance at the peculiarly tall drow as he passed him, but any thoughts on the man were quickly gone as is mind turned to regretting that it'd grown too late to visit his uncle again, the old man would be asleep by now, but perhaps he could swing by in the morning.

"You certainly took your sweet time getting here" said Ra'ive quietly as he emerged from a nearby shadow. He'd located the ship by leaning on a few of his 'friends' and had decided to wait for the others before making his presence known.

The wait had been longer than he'd anticipated and he had even begun playing with the idea of approaching the crew himself, however he'd seen a few unwary travelers approach them and they hadn't fared so well.

Ra'ive rotated his neck, the joints cracked with a satisfying pop and he matched step with the rest of the group.

"So what is the plan? When do we leave?"

Evela saw Vik'nars stare at him, he wasnt planning on doing anything bad, he was in too good of a mood from his swim and the view of the beach. Besides, he didn't have a source of fire and was not standing on earth, he could only protect and heal people.

"Thank you" Evela said to Ellondra, "I was planning on sleeping at the nearest chapel like last village, but I'm sure your estate would be much lovlier."

Evela jumped as Ra'ive walked from the shadows, he was really not expecting that, he quickly composed himself and smiled at him, "Hi Ra'ive, we are leaving at Dawn, and now we are apparently going to Ellondra's house." he said cheerfully to him.

<spoiler=OOC>Btw, I dislike spelling peoples names...

"Hmm, Well did I hear correctly that the captain offered accommodation on her ship? I'd take Ellondra up on her offer of hospitality but I don't think she wishes to be seen harbouring an assassin in her home."

'Plus she won't be very appreciative of the smoke billowing out from one of her rooms'

Ra'ive stopped and awaited a response, in truth he'd prefer to be with the group so he could discuss the Guild further with Vik'nar and Landon, but he didn't wish to be a nuisance.

'Such strange thoughts and notions these'

Ok I'm getting back into the swing of regular posting but I probably wont be posting this weekend, the first of many small holiday excursions :(

Acento was relived that the initial tension between them and the crew had subsided, already friction and they hadn't even set sail yet.

Acento smiled at Ellondra's offer of accommodation

"If it isn't too much trouble I wouldn't mind taking you up on your offer Ellondra"

She nodded to the newest of her comrades, "Think nothing of it."

As for the elf... Ellondra's nose wrinkled in thought. He was a troublemaker, but at least he was their troublemaker. Right?

"Ra'ive. I have eleven guest rooms. I'm certain at least one of them will be to your liking. Come."

She led them back to the Renaldo estate north of the Wesburg bazaar. She hadn't been exaggerating the size of the building--in fact, eleven unused rooms could very well have been an understatement. It wasn't the Guard's salary that paid for it but rather her father's very successful hand in business.

Like Ellondra, it was stylishly decorated but not particularly welcoming. What walls did not display foreign artifacts and weapons from wars long past held the woman's rather expansive collections of insects. Servants fluttered about in a manner that suggested misbehavior would find them trapped under pins in a box as well.
