A little bit of a hard hitting question.

Even if it were considered murder, given the mindset of the time period, I don't think anyone would've even considered charging someone for murdering Nazis.

Gonna have to go with pardon. The soldiers had no knowledge of the war's end and it's odd for a defeated army to continue sending patrols, so unless the nazis had a big ol' white flag with them, the only rational choice would be to shoot.

The thing is, wouldn't it more or less totally inconsistent to charge soldiers with murder on the field of battle? Even if this doesn't count as an actual skirmish, that is what soldiers do. They go where their countries tell them to go and kill who their countries tell them to kill.
