Alright I am just posting this to get a bit of help to get a new gaming Graphics card for my PC.
Not expecting this thread to get far or last long.

I got $150.
My next upgrade will be Motherboard/CPU so I need something I can transfer over and have a medium/high end gaming rig.

My current card is a GT 520 and I am thinking of a 7750...

Is there anything better I could get?

The 7750 is low end, look up reviews.

I don't really know what you should get, I'm not an PC gamer.

Upgrading to a new graphics card might end up costing more than you think. You may need a new CPU and PSU before you can upgrade. My old system was so old that to upgrade the Graphics card I needed to build a completely new system. But it was worth it. Now I can play BF3 on Ultra @ 150fps.

When I built my first PC I asked around here http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39. You could also try Tom's Hardware too.

What resolution are you going to be playing at , what quality do you prefer , framerate , your cpu and which games?

Please include the specifications for your current rig in order to make it easier to determine what you should do. Include information about the RAM, CPU and motherboard at the least.

This. Info that I would request:
CPU
Motherboard
RAM
Monitor Maximum resolution and refresh rate.

After that, it'll be easier.

On graphics cards, $150 isn't going to get you much. Not sure how the 520 ranks in the grand scheme of things, but it might be better than what you'd get, IDK, I deal mostly in mid range graphics cards for each generation when I buy, like the 560Ti. Its a good card, and cost $200-$250 dependent on where you look [Or up to $300 for the 2Gb version], so if you can shell out the extra money I'd look at that.
Of course, you could probably get a Radeon card that is as good or better for a similar or lower price, though I have this thing against Radeon cards, so I'm not that in the know about them.

Oh holy shit... I'm so sorry mate, anyway does your Monitor support 1920x1080?

I'd upgrade your CPU before the GFX card, which isn't great news as it means you're going to need a new motherboard.

No. Max is 1440x900. Which works great for me right now. I am not an elitist or anything. I don't need everything at max. I just want a solid play experience.

Yes but I do not got the cash right now. I just want a cheap and efficient GPU to tide me over right now. Then when I do up my Motherboard and CPU I can get a new GPU

You should get some RAM too, its cheap. 2 gb is not a lot...
Max this board will fit.

Also I got a 430W PSU.

Not sure how much performance gain you'll get compared to how much you spend, it's going to be a bottleneck if you get anything decent.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I would get a new mobo and a new cpu first. Your vid card isn't horrible but the cpu is probably like 6 or 7 years old. I would recommend a good quad core chip something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116502 if you got the budget for it and a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157304 mother board, then get some more ram for it, like at least 8 gigs and upgrade to win 7 64 bit.

Your current vid card might be fine with that setup, I find its best to pay a bit more for your cpu and mobo and a bit less on your vid card. New vid cards come out all the time and its easy to swap one of those out but a new mobo or cpu requires almost a full new comp build and its kind of a pain in the butt to do.

He says he doesn't have much cash and you recommend him one of the best Quad Cores? The fuck mate? haha.

Oh yeah, he did say he only had $150 currently. Well never mind, I would suggest just saving the current cash and adding it to the pile for the mobo and cpu.

Jesus wept! A Pentium D. that mis the worst CPU i EVER had and i had a Celeron! That's what my old, old, Dell computer from 2007 had (gave it to my mum). I wouldn't bother with any kind of beefy GPU with those specs, that Pentium D coupled with those 2GB of single channel RAM of ram is going to chugg like it's spring break.

Chuck the fucking thing out of the window and start again is my advice. None of those parts are really relevant in a new build computer and none of those parts would work well with a modern GPU. You would simply be fighting a losing battle with constant bottle-necks.
This. Save your money and upgrade your whole rig. The GPU you have is pretty good compared to the rest of your hardware. I can't recommend buying a new card with that hardware, especially with a 430W PSU. Save your money, invest in a new rig and you'll have a decent gaming PC for years. You'll save a lot in the long run.
