So I went to a career advisor yesterday (in in 2nd year university), and I told her my plan to eventually work in advertising. I was asking for advice, something to point me in the right direction for what I should do to get into advertising.
Basically, she was saying that the bottom line is: what degree you have/are getting does not really matter in the modern career field, only that you actually have one.
For those of you who are graduated and job hunting, or have been working for a time, would you say this is accurate? In my case, I dont want to do a degree change and work and pay an extra year towards it if it's not really going to give me any benefit.
