There is a band I wanted to tell you all about. They are called Our Future Leaders, and I recently saw them at a Battle Of The Bands. They are from Orlando, FL and I really liked them.
They are kind of like Grunge-Metal-Acid Rock, and their guitarist, "Footy", is an absolute BEAST in both instrumental track "Caliber" and the aptly named "Metal Song". They may become then next band to hit it big.

Here is their MySpace link http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=155362722

Any sweet indie bands someone wants to tell me about?

I just listened to them, and I don't like them. I have no indie bands to tell you about.

Well, little-known bands... Little-known bands...
Are Gogol Bordello considered little-known? If so, I would so suggest them, especially 'Start Wearing Purple'. They're a genre known as Gypsy Punk, and they are absolutely INSANE. Their songs are crazy, and... Just listen to them.

I love Gogol Bordello. Have you heard Not A Crime? Great song.

I'd like to put forward Mumford and Sons, an excellent nu-folk/bluegrass/indie band. Emotive lyrics, great melodies, individual style, they're fantastic, really.

I would say they are considerably successful and well known. They are if you ever go to a music festival that has a punk line-up, like warped tour or along those lines.

as for indie bands, I actually have a close friend that does music, and I can't say what genre, cause he does it all. But his website is Dickmackinnis.com, give him a look see.

Yeah, I wasn't too sure if they were well-known or little-known. Not many people 'round here know them, but then again... Not many people 'round here know who Smashing Pumpkins are.

Our Future Leaders sounds pretty cool. You should check out Swear By This, they do most of the music for the Pregame Lobby machinima. They are a kind of alternative rock type group. They have a MySpace page, but I don't have a link. There is also a country group based where I live called Pontiac Moon. I don't really like country, but they may be worth a searchif you are into it.

Lets see, I'm going to try to go for completely unknown bands here. Like less than 1000 listeners on Last.fm

Disciples Of Anihilation
Fucking new york city speeeeeedcoooorrrrrrre! Here's a description of them by Matt from the band Pissed Jeans...

Dropped off by some deadbeat in a trashed load of used vinyl at Double Decker Records, I picked up a couple 12"s on the Industrial Strength record label and realized that I am a raver inside a punker's body. There's no texture, no build-up towards a climax, no wit, no melody, nothing but pure head-melting hardcore techno. Disciples of Annihilation manage to dig right into the core of music and cut off all the fat. I've tried to figure out how to dance to this, and realized that the only appropriate physical response is to crawl into the speaker and die. The thought of children being exposed to this music frightens me, because unlike other parental-advised music, it doesn't paint a fantasy world of devils and goblins, nor does boast over-exaggerated, fictional crime stories; this is the legit soundtrack to first encounters with hard drugs, highway car crashes and amateur self-mutilation.

In a word. AWESOME!

Frank Castle Gonna Break Your Neck
Russian antifacist thrashcore. AWESOME!

Surf Nazis Must Die
German thrashcore. AWESOME!

Herpes
German electroglamrockcore (I just invented that term) AWESOME!

Gritty Committee
Real raw grime. AWESOME!

Sigma 909
Ultra obscure old skool gabba, srsly I don't even know what nationality these guys are its impossible to find any information on them.
