I'm curious about something. Many times have I seen people say "This is my first thread!!!! Don't bash me, please :(((((((" or variations thereof.

What really makes me curious is why? Why is that an excuse? I'm not trying to bash anyone here, but even if you've never created a thread before you can be sensible about it. You can read the rules beforehand, you can think things through and consider if you really need to create a thread on the subject.
i would agree that when people say "my first thread, don't bash me" it is just unforgivable. Then again, i would like you to imagine that it is said by a 9 year old. Now does it make more sense? They would not know how to make a proper conversation yet. But then, what are they doing here? We cant do anything about it though.

On the other hand, why should people care? So what if it's your first thread? If it's a bad thread, it's going to be bad, and reported, no matter if it's your first or your 200th thread. If it's good, it's going to be appreciated, and no one is going to care how many posts you have before this one.
Rather then bashing on the poor fella's thread, you could give suggestion on making the thread better and how the current one had failed. I mean, it would be better on the poster. Please note, this would only work on mentally older posters. It maybe a bad post but there will be people who had never used a forum before.

Reason being that it hurts to read it as a poster trying to fit in, just like going to a new school. Except instead of everyone being new too, older posters come and do a "initiation". It is just very depressing.

As a poster, i would appreciate it a lot. For example, after reading a whole list of "Report and Move On" and other depressing reply's, it will make us feel better and allow us to make an effort to make better Threads next time.

I sincerely hope you would understand.
