typically, the awesome stuff only happens to me when no one's around. mostly because they screw up whatever i'm trying to do.
like this one time way back in half life 2 online
i had completely wired half the map with laser trip mines of some sort. 2 guys spawned and ran directly for the area. one of them was running up behind me without me realizing it, and the other guy sniped him, a teammate. his corpse fell into he laser and blew me up. that crafty little bastard. at least he didnt get credit for either kill

i was playing halo a while ago and on a online match (forgot the map) someone went on the man cannon and i managed to shoot him in the head while he was in mid-air i was amazed at it, i didn't think i could hit him never mind headshot him.
gta4.. escaped a six star wanted level in a shitty banger of a car, (think it was romans cab)in a chase involving going in reverse down the freeway dodging cop backwards then doing a perfect 180 and speeding off past the roadblocks... luck was a big factor 
On GTA IV, I was playing on Free Mode with a few friends. We were all heading to the airport - The person in front of me was driving a bus, I was driving a motorbike. He knocked over a biker in front of him, and I was going too fast to stop or avoid it - I hit it, flipped several times and landed perfectly.
I was playing Skate 1, and the game glitched, so I fell under the world. But instead of seeing the underside of the world, the camera shot upwards, and I was able to move it around freely, so, naturally, I saw how far the map extended by going to the very edge. It was epic, and it was beautiful. Sadly, no one saw it, and I neglected to capture a video of it.
Earlier today while playing Mercs 2 I helicoptered to the highest point in the game and lept out of my helicopter and just before the very bottom, I managed to grapple another Helicopter, and in sheer shock I hit the wrong button in the QTE, but while it was flying, they managed to kick me off the chopper and onto the boat I needed to get onto while surviving. I felt so badass, nobody saw

In Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit for the PC, there was this one epic time I was trying to outrun the police. I had them hot on my tail, so instead of running through the barricade they had laid on the road, I tried to go into a emptied canal to get past them. I had, like, ten cars on me at that point, and every last one of them followed my lead and leaped into the canal.
For a split second, I was REALLY freaked out, because I thought it was raining cop cars. And that was hilarious.

Halo 3. We were playing Team BRs and anybody could tell you I'm not all that great with BR, so I always flip back to assault rifle. Anyway, we're playing construct and there are so many places to fall off.
I was fighting a losing battle against one dude and decided to jump off a higher position with the intention of tossing a grenade as I fell to my death. Sadly, that grenade did nothing, because this rather intelligent individual followed me to my death in the beliefs that I was planning on escaping...somewhere.
Maybe he thought I could escape to Hell.

We were playing a CTF match and I managed to fend off the reds from getting our flag. There was a particular case where a guy with a rocket launcher came in with active camo and I managed to kill him without taking too much damage.
I decided to t-bag him.
To this, he responded: "YOU MUST NO T BAGGING!"
...to which I replied: "YOU MUST BETTER ENGLISH SPEAKING!"
I was promptly banned.

I could write a book full of Oblivion glitches/odd sightings...Like the time that I saw people with purple eyes...
As for non-glitchy awesomeness...I was playing Puzzle Quest's demo this morning, matched some attack thingies...and instantly defeated my opponent. I was level 1. It was my second real fight of Galactrix, it was supposed to actually be a tad difficult. I got a 6 chain of death. SWEET!

Gta4. On that mission where you have to chasedown the biker gang leader whos dating whatshisfaces daughter. Anyway. I bailed out of my flaming car of death at about 130 miles an hour and it ghostrode straight into him as he was turning the next corner. Exploding with a mission complete on impact.
i was playing gta 4 offline wtih a friend next to me and we were trying to do the best copter deaths, but one time i flew to the highest point you can fly then leapt for the ground but as i neared the ground i landed between two rocks and somehow survived!
To this day me and my friend have no idea how it happened and have no proof that it did all i get from people is "bullshit dude" or "asshole you just used hacks" (stupid forumists XP

2 things---
1. Ocarina of Time...I was fighting 2 of those skeleton guys (cant remember their names) and I I accidentally rolled of the edge of the platform and was going to fall to my death...I hit the attack button and turned around in midair and jumped onto the platform and killed the guy...I was stunned by Link's sudden ability to defy gravity...
2. I was playing against my brother in Brawl (He won't admit this so it counts)...We do 5 stock matches...I was Lucario and he was Samus...He had 4 lives left and I was left with 1...I won...And he does not suck (he can beat two level 9's so he is pretty decent for a non-gamer)
