All Evil Dead films.
Those films aren't bad movies, though - they were made on a low-budget, but most of the goofiness is intentional, and there is a lot of real imagination and ingenuity in them, along with some great physical comedy.
the goofiness only becomes intentional after the first film, which is absolutely appaling.
You have a point - Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell have said that the first Evil Dead movie was not meant to be funny, but turned out that way due to how their youthful exuberance made them exaggerate everything.

We will have to agree to disagree on the 'appalling' part - the movie is not as good as the second one, there are a few dull stretches and everyone except Bruce Campbell sucks in the acting department. However, the camerawork is legitimately innovative, there is a real sense of atmosphere and there are many effective and outrageous scenes (especially once Ash is alone, in the latter half of the film).

Another movie for the list: Zardoz. Featuring Sean Connery in a red diaper and a giant, flying stone head that dispenses guns.

Has anyone ever watched Citizen Kane? It's considered THE best movie by a lot of decrepit old fucks who still think they're legitimate critics when they won't give the time of day to a foreign film, but the entire thing is basically two hours about some reporter finding out why some rich cocksucker threw a temper tantrum and randomly said "Rosebud" before croaking. Timeless classic, right?

Attack of the killer tomatoes!

OMG! The school stage band I play Saxophone in Played the theme (or at least a tribute to the movie) for that last year! It was actually rather difficult...

Though funnily enough, at my job at McDonalds we have received freakishly sized tomatoes that I'm pretty sure have had several Hormones injected into them... I may actually get scared by that movie!

There's not enough Maximum Overdrive love on this thread.

Cars come to life and start murdering people. So dumb, yet so awesome.

I thought this list was for bad movies that we found enjoyable, not bad movies we hated?

Sorry, dude: I'd go as far as to call Citizen Kane overrated, but if that was all you got out of it then you might want to watch it again. Also, Sight and Sound magazine (where Citizen Kane has been voted the greatest movie ever made since 1962 on their once-a-decade list) polls not just critics from around the world, but also directors from around the world, too. Both lists (which also contain a number of foreign films) have Citizen Kane as the top film. You can view the results here: http://www.bfi.org.uk/sightandsound/topten/

I'm not saying I necessarily agree, but I do think people who make movies for a living or who write about them for a living probably have a more educated perspective than me.

Have you ever come acroos a movie that's SO bad, it's utterly BRILLIANT?
Not just good, i mean it's really up there.
For me it has to be the 2003 heart-wrenching drama, 'The Room'.
I mean, those are just some of the highlights.
'The Room' is property of Tommy Wiseau and all related parties. :p
Have you ever watched The Room in theaters? Now that is a masterpiece. Funniest thing in the world. Also the movie Birdemic is terrible. The director thought it was amazing too....

Death Wish 4: The Crackdown.

Nothing else comes close to how brilliantly crap this movie is. It's just.. awful. And I love it.

Yes, it is a classic. We've had this discussion. You're also in the wrong place for discussing movies you personally dislike.

How has no one said Rocky Horror Picture Show yet? The movie has carved out a place for itself in pop culture for being EXACTLY this kind of movie.

And if you are, for some reason, not willing to admit that Rocky Horror is bad, at least give it up for Shock Treatment.
FINALLY! 150 posts Escapist? Come on.
OT: Yeah, obviously Rocky Horror. Also Batman And Robin, which I believe also took a disappointingly long time to be mentioned.

Plan 9 From Outer Space. Sink a few (or smoke a few if that's your preference) then watch this film.

For some reason, I love genre parodies. Black Dynamite, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes... and:

Mega Shark Vs Gaint Octopuss takes the cake.

However, Meet the Spartans was such a horrible parody, that it's actually funny, but not in the parody sense. If that makes any sense.
