Existenz. Worst movie I have ever seen, and I have rewatched it a hundred times trying to figure out the ending.

I'm suprised no-one has mentioned everyone's favourite killer tyre movie, Rubber.
Although, it is quite good...

Nobody said Troll 2 yet?

Have you actually watched Troll 2?

It's not even that funny. I mean, sure the poor acting, cheesiness and atrocious troll costumes are funny for about 20 minutes, but then there's still an hour to go, and besides that "they're eating her, then they're gonna eat me, OOOOHHHHH MMYMYYYY GOOOOOOD" scene there's not really much else to the film.

Bah! What about the popcorn orgasm? Grandpa Seth? The fact that the day was saved by a bologna sandwich?

Troll 1 was not a good movie, but nowhere near as spectacularly bad as the second.

The whole production was a mess. None of the crew really spoke English, just broken pidgin. So the actors didn't really have much of an idea what was going on. Especially the one actor who was a resident of a local mental health institute on a day trip.

The script was written in the same broken pidgin English and given to the actors scene by scene.
The actors tried to offer the director/writer advice about the dialogue to make it sound more natural, but he completely refused.

There weren't even any trolls in the movie, they were goblins. It had nothing to do with the first movie whatsoever except taking place in the same state. They gained rights to the name and used it to ride on the "success" of the original "Troll".

Oh, Rubber. You truly are the greatest telepathic, homicidal sentient tire. Tyre, for you non-North Americans.

OT: Speaking of things ending in ubber, Flubber. Hilariously bad.

Hobo with a shotgun > The room

See the problem with the room is it tries to be be ironically humorous, but fails because its not even bad enough to laugh at. Its like watching high school biology class documentary films bad, Not even MST3K worthy bad.
You... didn't get it...

The Room is every bit as bad as it seems.

The Room isn't a comedy or a parody or anything. It is a straight faced drama. Hobo With A Shotgun is a genuinely good film inspired by grindhouse movies to be ridiculous, while at the same time being very good at it. The Room is inspired by... apathy and a lack of talent and is so bad that its entertaining to watch.

Sorry, that came off a little bit off what I was meaning. Its not that the film itself is purposely trying to be ironically humorous. Its that the only merit for the film is to be ironically humorous and it fails miserably at that.

I cant put up a lot of energy in this. Ive encountered The Room fans, and of the ones I have encountered, there is no way of logical explanation on how its inferior even at the only form of merit the film has. So if you like it, more power to you. But I DO get how it is "supposed" to be enjoyable. I just dont find awkward experiences the slightest bit funny to watch.

Someone already mentioned it, but the '80s Flash Gordon with the Queen music. And add Barbarella and Ice Pirates to the list. Quest for the Mighty Sword gave me a giggle or two, as well.
