Alrighty, after coming back from eating (food heated up in the microwave, ironically) I tried it... and sadly, it didn't work. Nothing would happen when I tried to flick the switch on. Thankfully though, my N64 still works with other games. I'm going to have to seriously slap my friend for that.
So I guess I'm stuck either buying a new game off of ebay or downloading it off of the Wii shop.

Boy, some of the replies here are scary.
You absolutly do NOT want to put that cartridge in your N64 as it could very well destroy the console. The internal circuity of the IC's inside the cartridge was likely melted/shorted out with in just a matter of seconds.
Electronics 101. Bad IC's, depending on failure type, can damage everything connected to them. Melting the internals of an IC is one of those failure types. Maybe only Data lines are shorted which would mean garbage but no destruction. Maybe Address Lines are shorted which would mean MMU damage if left in and on for a while. Or maybe Vcc is shorted with GND which would blow the main fuse on the mobo before anything else got fried. Or maybe Vcc is shorted against Address/Data lines which will cause an instant cascading failure of every chip in the console. Maybe, if you're really lucky, all pins are broken & dead which would spare your console any damage.
In any case, if that cart spent more then a second or two in the microwave, it's FUBAR, and a potential console killer.
Throw the thing away and make your friend get you a replacement that they owe you.

There should be no harm to the N64 for trying, I imagine the worst case would be that there would be problems with the connections between cartridge and system and nothing would work. I have a large number of Nintendo products and the only system that I've had any problem with is the DS, which likes to crack hinges once every 6 months or so, and on SNES cartridge whose connections corroded for some reason (I think it got wet). I even have an NES that still works and all the games(admittedly I have to mess with some of them for a while to get them to work.)
If the he you're referring to is me, I'm actually a girl (irrelevant, but I figured I'd point it out while I'm at it), and sadly, I wasn't up to anything awesome. Oh, and I forgot to mention in my previous post, the little metal part you can see from the underneath of the cartridge is a bit (only a bit, though) deformed. I have to put my NES cartridges in the freezer and then douse them in boiling water for a couple minutes for them to work.
I am not kidding. It works a lot better than blowing. Basically, one day Tetris was being a real *****, so I decided to do everything that the back of the cartridge says NOT to do (expose to extreme temperatures...)
And it worked fine, and I had a backup tetris cartridge just in case and it still works as far as I know.
