Black Panther and Luke Cage could hold a movie on their own.

I would like to think Doctor Strange is capable too, but it has to be handle well. A script for his is extra hard... poorly done, its Sorcerer's Apprentice all over again.

Either way, they will sure have to up the ante if Marvel goes with the spoiled villain.

Squeeze in Vision to round out the Arcade Roster, and Ms Marvel.

Considering the TV shows in development, Cloak and Dagger, Jessica Jones (and Luke Cage with her) Mockingbird, and the Punisher would be great second String Cameos

well probably the new spiderman is coming. as are ghost rider and deathpool. they are getting or were recently in new movie. i don't know if any of these characters were part of the avengers in the comics, but i guess that this is the reason they are getting movies.

for characters getting a new movie. i would love to see a movie with Taskmaster, but that will probably not happen, him not being a real hero and all. maybe he can get a villain role.

I'd really like to see Ant-man/Wasp movie. If there is one thing that disappoints me about the Avenger film is that ant-man/wasp were not members.

Ms Marvel

With Thanos probably being the next big threat, that means we're gonna need some cosmic heroes, and plus Ms Marvel's the premier heroine of the brand.

And Wasp and Hank Pym (Giant Man or Ant Man, or both), and Black Panther, and Dr. Strange and... Y'know what just bring over all the heroes who've ever been on the team that Marvel hasn't sold the rights to.

Oh, and War Machine, kinda suprised he wasn't in this one. I guess they figured they didn't need another guy in a high powered, armored suit. It's not like he could ever come in handy, right?

I want a Dr.Strange movie. Hell even toss in Brother VooDoo, and villain like Black Talon (the later gritty version).

Luke Cage, Vision, and Black Panther would also be good.

Captcha: foul smelling (I don't think captcha agrees with me)

Ive seen some hints that the next couple years of movies are mostly going to focus on the cosmic and magic sides of the Marvel universe.

Though the two films i think need to be made the most right now is Doctor Strange and Deadpool. Of course Marvel wont agree with me, with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 coming next year, but theres 2 unconfirmeds in 2014.

They're talking about an Ant-Man film, but I'd rather see a Wasp movie to be honest. Also, I'd love to see them tie the X-Men continuity to the Avengers continuity, but that's unlikely and would be too difficult to successfully do. Finally, I so desperately want to see a Runaways film, and maybe introduce a few other minor characters, building up over time to a full on Civil War event for Avengers 3...
Runaways was actually supposed to be the other Marvel film released this year, but it was crammed in stasis so all of the attention could fall on Avengers.

Maybe the next overarching storyline should be Guardians of the Galaxy. In the movie universe's version, you have Gamera, Nova, Adam Warlock, Quasar, and Moon Dragon who brings along Drax as part of a package deal. Make the overreaching enemy everyone must fight either Korvac, Terrax, Anhillius, or some other cosmic threat that rarely visits Earth.

Hell screw it. New continuity, new rules. Put Captain Mar-Vell in there as well.

Next Avengers movie should have Wasp, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Ms. Marvel. They could always sub out Hulk, Hawkeye, and Black Widow.

They could also do an X-Men crossover with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

I'm not sure more Avengers is such a good idea. They really need the build up origin movies, otherwise the characters will feel really weak, or out of place with the all ready established characters. So that would mean they'd need their own movie, and which new Hero do you want to have their own origin movie?

I really hope they don't, I'm looking forward to where the current line of X-Men movies will be going.

To clarify; I don't dislike the Avengers. I really enjoyed it, but I really loathe the internal logic of the Avengers. Magical McGuffin! Shit happens because we want it to! Anything Can Happen! Is really boring. X-Men would do much better on it's own.

I hated the last few X Men movies. Origins was balls, almost as bad as X3. Also Fox owns mutants so we won't be ssing them any time soon.

I thought they had rebooted it with X-Men: First Class?

I think whats needed is a pragmatic approach that takes from classic Avenger history, more recent comics and the stuff in the films. There's no reason to pick say Swordsman over Luke Cage because the former was an Avenger before him.

So off the top of my head:
Ant-man/Giant-man/Yellowjacket and Wasp as pair would be cool. I hope Wasp is in the Edgar Wright movie.
Luke Cage and/or Iron Fist. Both great characters. Luke Cage has really grown from his involvement in New Avengers instead of being a gimmick (like Spidey and Wolverine).
The Vision would be cool, his origin might need some tinkering. How much of Ultron and the Original Human torch would need to be mentioned (Invaders movie anyone?)
Ms Marvel/Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers). I really think Ms Marvel could be great. She'd probably need a movie that involved Mar-Vell but would be a great member.

It was rebooted but Fox still owns them. I also hated First Class.

I'd like to see a female hero get added to the list, you know just to round things out. Give Black Widow a well-rounded female mate, a fellow arse-kicker to get a drink with after the fight.

And Black Panther would be awesome. Ant Man always struck me as bit of wiener.

Please, God, no.

Unfortunately Marvel doesn't own the rights to the X Men right now for movie purposes but I agree, seeing Wolvering stand next to Iron Man would be bad ass.
Or even just establishing they existed in the same universe, which would be difficult with the rights issues. But yeah.

The staples being listed in this thread (Black Panther, Vision) and Cage/Iron Fist are top picks for me. Would love to see Spider-Man once the rights come home, too.

Althought honestly, I mostly want to see the core cast return for any new Avengers movie.
