My first game was OoT, so it wasn't especially violent, unless you find a 10 year old stabbing a giant spider in its giant eye particularly violent

My cousin let me play his friend's SNES copy of Mortal Kombat a few times, but I never really got into it. I wasn't very good, considering I was really young and didn't play fighting games much.

My uncle got me a copy of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for the Playstation when I was about 10. I highly doubt he knew what he got me. I couldn't do fatalities, still couldn't play well, and disliked the "Bottom of the Pit" stage. All that said, I really didn't play violent games much as a kid. I played Gundam: Battle Assault 2 and Final Fantasy 8. My first games were Mario, Sonic, and Duck Hunt.

My very first game was some kind of Adventure where you still had to type in commands (5 1/4"-disk :D). Don't remember the name. Soon followed by Maniac Mansion and other LucasArts stuff.

First multiplayer: Doom, Doom2, Heretic, Wolfenstein, R.o.t.T.

I was only allowed to play E games, and if it said violence in the discription, even if it was mild violence or cartoon violence, I couldnt play it. I wasnt allowed to play Mgames untill I was 11 or 12 years old.

My first game was Red Baron 2 the flight simulator when I was 5 years old. I guess that was sort of violent.

It was a strange childhood.

Not really my first game, but I got GTA2 for my seventh or eighth birthday...
I guess you could say it was violent, but if you've ever seen GTA2 then you'll notice that it's sort of cartoon-y, so it made killing pretty fun!

I grew up playing violent games one of my first console experiences was just killing people on the first GTA with the over heard view and it didn't mess me up to bad.

The first game I remember playing with my older brother was Mortal Kombat on the Genesis when I was 4. I got into gaming on my own through Doom. So yeah, lots of violence.
