Well my first two games were Megaman (X1 and X3 to be exact) and I shortly after got super castlevania so I guess I was raised on hard violent games.

How many of you grew up with violent games as your first? During my last little questioning, I found ALOT of people's first games were Doom, Duke Nukem, and other similar games (on girl said her GRANDMA was playing Duke and that got her interested). So, I wondered if that was the same for everybody... so did you blast some demon point blank in the face in bloody pixelated glory as your baptism to gaming?
My first game was Mario 64, then Pokemon Red. And yet nowadays I hate both of those series for the pure number of pointless redos.

Is Rouge Trip:Vacation 2012 violent.Hell yes it is,and it was my first game.
Yup, I hate to say it, but I first played my brother's Tele-Games "PONG." No violence there. But a shoutout to the mentions of Rogue Trip and someone said Super Dodge Ball, those games ruled.

My first game...I don't remember. I remember playing at a very early age Super Metroid and Yoshi's Island. Though no I didn't do First Person Shooters up until Goldeneye with friends on the N64. Oh I think my earliest violent game was Castlevania on the Super Nintendo. I didn't start playing truly violent games until Devil May Cry 2 on the PS2. Even after that I didn't play a lot of violent games. Its only kind of recently that I've taken to more violent games.

I didn't grow up with violent videogames. First game I played was Super Mario Bros. 3. Though later on I got Robocop (which sucked) for the NES as well. Might have been the most violent game I had.

My first games were...sort of violent, it's just not reflected on much.

Chrono Trigger: You control a mute teenager with a katana, kill everything and everyone in your way as you attempt to save the future.

Super Mario World: Crush enemies with your own body weight on a path to rescue the princess. Mario's boot-stomping fun is now augmented by his new friend Yoshi, who not only stomps but can also devour your foes.

Kirby All Star: He. Eats. EVERYTHING.

I started with Ocarina of Time. The game wasn't really violent, but it still had the themes there.

My first game was Micro Maniacs.

My first Violent Game was Metal Gear Solid.

Calumon: My first game was Digimon World, and Jack won't let me play violent games. He says I can't handle them! But I'm tough! I'm Strong!

I have no idea what my first game was, but I know that among them was Road Rash, the Hercules game, Future Cop, and Doom. I never realised how violent my childhood was.
Oh well.

I think that the first game I played was half-life and I loved it from the beginning though I was scared of the aliens (I was about 8 years old).
