the ocean is not a machine.

that's probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

From watching the video... there's alot of electronical components. Could break. Also, the natural decay of matter also makes perpetual motion machines impossible.

If it exists, it WILL break. The only question is when it will break.

Nop, the ocean needs a constant input of energy (ie the sun).

Haha. The guy in the video admits that his own technology is impossible, albeit in a speech about how his company "accidentally" stumbled upon it.

He then goes on to say that the "scientific side" of the technology is that:
(paraphrased): You, like, totally put permanent magnets in a certain configuration and it totally violates the conservation of energy, dude.

The only "perpetual" motion machine that is theoretically possible is that of using zero point energy.
HOWEVER, we do not know how to collect it and it takes an array the size of the earth to power a 60 W light. Good luck powering a house.

Send cash and get something unbelievable, the main question is why are we sitting here discussing what is very obviously just a scam to get cash out of stupid people?

I think this project might be sponsored by the former prince of Nigeria.

Face it, people, the only perpetual motion is the sending of spam!

Possibly the most awesome way said so elegantly.
Ummm, i think its opinion though, many think the whole world is nothing more than a machine, reactions and all that good stuff, making it no different then a gear clock. so its not overly stupid....

Why dont we just harvest some helium 3. with the amount of it we could get we could probably one day get fusion reactions working.
if only it wouldnt cost trillions of dollars to ship it from the moon.

Saw this 4 years ago.

Basically they claim they have the machine but everytime they're going to show it "something comes up" and they never do.

5 years and counting.

To be fair it doesn't exist on earth but in theory you can have perpetual motion in a vacuum.

1)E=q+w
2)dS=dq(rev)/T (or: deltaS(tot)>0)
3)S=0 if T=0
Well...if T=0...no entropy, ergo a) heat=0, and ergo b)all energy is work, but, all matter would be in a crystal (that's wrong, btw), so no motion. Hm...me thinks that claim be bullshit.
