I have a question for those of you that have a Playstation 3.

When you first turn on the system you are presented with a screen that shifts from black to dark blue then back again. But when you have a game in the machine and let the cursor sit on the disc's name for a few moments a wallpaper will pop-up based in the game and there will be a little video depicting game play.

My question is, is there a permanent way to change the system's wallpaper so that a more visually pleasing image appears when I turn on the system? Maybe even one of the wallpapers that a game puts up?

As far as I know, you can set any image in your photos folder as your wallpaper. Just not the one that pops up when you highlight a game.

There is no way to change the start up screen (the black wavy thing at the start), but you can change your normal background to any picture you have by pressing triangle while it's selected, going to set as background and picking the size and positioning e.t.c.

Damnit, i wanted to know that too but i could never do that. I wanted to put up the Oblivion start up screen as my wallpaper but could never do it.

Ah well, i tried finding a picture of it with the web browser but couldn't find a picture.

maybe you should try searching wfor network drives at the top of the picture line. I don't know what kind of phone you have so you might want to try using the blue tooth options.

My brother uses a micro SD card (whatever that is) to get songs n stuff from PS3 to his mobile (or the other way round), so maybe you should try getting one. Unless of course, you have a 40gb. Then you're screwed.
