After reading the topic "Why Russia?" in the gaming section, I decided that I might as well post my idea for a powerful North Korea that I was working on before hand.

After a high-stakes game of Basket Ball between Kim Jong-Il and Barrack Hussein Obama (I did my research. Both of these national leaders love Basket Ball, which was why I chose that sport for my concept) (In 2014), North Korea has won a large portion of land through out the Asia Pacific Region including: parts of China that border the Yellow Sea, several Indonesian islands including Timor, Australia, and British Columbia (Canadian province).

This has naturally made the people of the territories annexed and those of those neighbouring the annexed territories to become at a greater anti US slant. Not from Korean propergander or a mere regime change, but because of the fact that most of the countries weren't even asked for concent to put their territories on the gambling tables.

Ofcoarse, I could always write it that Obama won the highstaked basketball, but most of the countries involved of the bet would be disillusioned from the fact that they weren't asked for in concent, and then severed their ties as an act of rudeness.

What?

I have no idea what I just read. Also, don't put two sets of parenthesis right next to each other. (Like)(This) It's just redundant and lazy writing.

The idea of political leaders slugging it out in a high-stakes game - no matter what that game is - is an interesting concept. Maybe it'll be made into a fighting game some day.
