A Possible Release of Minecraft v 1.9!

Who knows what it could mean? A possible release of 1.9 tomorrow? Or maybe an update for 1.8 to add in the new mobs? Feel free to speculate wildly below. My bet is on having a lovely Frosty friend to wander Minecraft with. (Seriously, I F-ing love that snowman)

Ha. That'll be the day. I'd love for it to happen but he led me on too long with the 1.8 update :'(

Release 1.9 maybe two weeks after 1.8? Man, I'd love to see that, but it's more likely it's a 1.8.2 release.

I would happily eat my own socks if 1.9 did come out tomorrow.

If it is an update, it'll be a minor one. Too quick after the 1.8.1 update. I'm expecting 1.8.2, but not 1.9.

Notch stated that it would be a pre-release but that's better then nothing.

Aw, c'mon!
Don't get me wrong, an update would be fantastic. However, the piece of crap computer I own has been struggling to run it at minimum specs ever since the 1.8 pre-release, and the mod that lets my computer run it better is almost finished!
