He's just a bit vengeful. Watch some of the cutscenes, and you'll figure out soon enough he had some side-effects from himself being taken down in the first mission.

At least, that's my explanation for him acting herp-derp with Barrett and Zhao.

Video game characters do NOT have wives and children... If you're going to over personify a picture on a screen further than what it is supposed to represent you must spend an awful long time weeping for the hundreds of lost souls.

Didn't Alpha Protocol have something like that? I at least seem to recall an "orphans created" entry in your overall stats.

I could've sworn I saw it go up by 12 after some of my kills in the middle east.

Psh Batman in arkham asylum is a ton worse, he actually goes for skull shattering blows, hell you can hear the enemies bones splinter into a thousand damn pieces when batman hits them. Yet its cool cause because batman refuses to kill.
Though the way Jensen speaks I'm beginning to suspect he is an alternate reality batman, hell half the time when I'm playing I get that gritty batman voice in my head.
