ug im sorry man but i have to fix a few things here:
1)prototype does have a sequel being made at least thats what its creators are saying.
2)heavey rain is not a game so alan wake wins by default for actualy being a GAME not just a seires of quick-time events.
3)the gears of war VS god of war debate. I left this for last because this will take the longest both games are very good but im sorry i liked gears better mostly because it has a better story.(im not alone in thinking the god of war games though fun kinda suck in the story department see extra credits) Now i cant stress this enoth BOTH gmaes are great and if you dont own them you should.
You don't have to fix anything, at least if you can read you don't.
1) I said
definite sequel. Key word = definite. Rumours of a Prototype 2 does not equal a definite sequel.
2) Heavy Rain is very much so a game. It is an
Interactive Drama Video Game. Regardless of your feelings and opinions of Heavy Rain, it is a game. If it were not, then you could also say that point and click RPGs and adventure games are not video games.
3) Not much of a debate really, considering they are two entirely different games, but for the sake of Aphex' argument I'll carry this on. Gears of War has possibly the blandest, most uninteresting and generic story next to Halo. I'm not denying the game is fun, but the characters and story aren't its big selling point. I think that is down to the chainsaw guns. And God of War games suck in the story department? I watched Extra Credits, and whilst I could see where it was coming from, I think they missed the point a little. Allow me to quote my comment from the video.

Whether intentional or not, each game seems to show the degredation in Kratos' humanity. In the first game, we see him fighting for a cause, in the hopes to rectify a mistake. In the second after our hero's hopes are dashed, we see the start of the degredation as Kratos seeks to take out his revenge on the Gods. For two perfectly good reasons. By the end of the second game, Kratos has become even mightier than Zeus himself and absolute power corrupts. It seems pretty natural that by the third game, Kratos would be a walking machine of inflicting death.
Pretty funny, because the tragedy is actually in the Gods' deaths. They lead Kratos on, kept him believing he would be relieved of his painful memories. They stopped him from committing suicide and made him a God. They gave him the means to engage in battle and quench his thirst for blood (probably fuelling further power and bloodlust). In the end, they brought about their own demise.
Maybe Kratos is meant to be a character with redeeming qualities, because we get to see the monster he has become. We get to see how the Gods' have toyed with him and pulled his strings. We get to see the tragedy of the puppeteers being systematically slaughtered by their puppet.
