Does anyone have and decent links for watching some MLP episodes? I'm kinda bored and willing to give it a watch.

I don't dislike MLP because of forum posts. I dislike it because cute little ponies are for little girls and I am a guy. That's why I don't like it and will not watch it. Over and out. Also, I wish so many people would stop using them as avatars. YOU ARE GROWN MEN. PLEASE STOP.

EDIT: Hmmm, maybe I came on a little strong in that post. <:-/

Sure, any fans can be annoying. But MLP fans are borderline rapists with their fandom
Borderline rapists? In that they are somewhat irritating?

I don't think that word means what you think it means.
No. In that they will jump out of dark alleyways and hold you down while they yell about MLP, probably while rubbing themselves on you, and slowly undressing. I know very well what the word means, senator. Somewhat irritating doesn't even begin to scratch the surface.
What you said reminds me of something Seanbaby said about one bad game's music in his "Rest of the Crap" column in EGM Magazine: "[so-and-so game's] music is annoying. Then again, that's like calling taint cancer annoying".

That last sentence reminded me of that. XD

For Stuff like this just let their curiosity get them to watch it or their friends, posting in forums only inspires hate towards the fandom.

Yeah. Real men only like things with tits or violence. Preferably violent tits. But no women. Bitches better be watching cooking shows. Well, if we let them out of the kitchen I mean.

hate things like Twilight
and bad writing for that choice. i've read a bit of the first book. it is simply a badly written book, it isn't just the fans and publicity, it's that it's just not a good book. i wouldn't have fit it's target audience as i like books that are well written, but i like vampires and werewolves, and having romance in a book doesn't make it bad, but twilight just made it absolutely horrid. so that comparison doesn't fit well, as mlp isn't a badly written show with what i have seen. granted i've only watched the first two episodes, but from that i can say it's a somewhat decent show. not exactly my cup of tea, but not bad

What a nice little thread.
I won't give those Ponies a try.

Firstly, someone who wants to attract my curiosity but shoves an abreviation (mlp:fim) up my face without taking the seriousness to explain correctly doesn't deserve any attention, at all, ever again. (Don't explain, I can look those AB up, but WTF - why should I in the 1st place?)

Secondly, The first time I heard about those ponies was at this very forum and seeing all those rather disgusting little avatars I am rather reluctant to give it a try. If eye cancer exists such avatars will proliferate it.

Thirdly, I likes Ponies. Fried as steaks most of the time. Dried up as Sausage they are also very palatable. But as a strange internet phenomenon it's not interesting enough. It lacks tentacles and witty violence, gorgeously mysogenistic tits and British Humour.
If it doesn't feature most of that I'm not interested, no matter how blatanly obnoxius the fans try vigorously to sell it.

And what's bad with watching cooking shows? My GF (Hell Yeah - abbreviation time) loves watching cooking shows.

You're post makes me lawl. I hope you're not serious. I keep looking for the hidden part of your post that says, "Just joking. Here's the real post:", but I can't find it. I seem to have run into a brony with a disguise (i.e. non-MLP avatar).

A WILD BRONY APPEARS!

THE VIRGO USES COMMON SENSE AND LOGIC ON BRONY

First of all, I never said anything about "real men". I am merely talking about grown men or almost grown men (i.e. late teens) being obsessed with something meant for little girls. If you saw a 20 year old guy watching that one Tinkerbell movie that came out a few years ago or, as a better example, a Barbie movie (if those even exist) alone, and saying how great it was and that you should watch it, wouldn't you question his reasoning process? I rest my case.

And speaking of reasoning, why would anyone title a topic "a question, a serious question" and have it be about people who don't like the show. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That ... IS ... NOT ... A SERIOUS QUESTION! A serious question is one where a guy has cancer in his testicles and asks people whether he should have chemo and take a chance of becoming infertile or have his nuts removed altogether. THAT is a serious question.

Next, you don't have to like tits to be a guy. I don't really care for them that much, myself. Yes, they're not bad at a decent size, but when they're huge, it's a big turn off. You can also be a pacifist and be a man.

Also, I never mentioned women. YOU are the one who brought them up. I only mentioned girls because they are the only ones who would be into a show that has cute ponies with names like Fluttershy or Twilight Sparkle (I had to wiki MLP:FIM to find another character). I mean, seriously.

That's really all I have to say on this subject.

Honestly, I have never seen an episode. Not that it is really important if you believe that or not.

Grown men shouldn't watch ponies. Implicitly grown man is something a man should be or aspire to (after a certain age). Ergo those who watch ponies are inferior or lesser than grown men.

More rules for being a "man."

There we go. There are things only girls should like. Presumably there are things only boys should like. So then the bronies are girls, or certainly not men. This must be a bad thing, or why else would it matter? That leads to these strictly defined manly roles being more important than the strictly defined female roles, and that leads to keeping her barefoot in the kitchen.

Serious question here. With all the hate the term brony get for as people say " being just a term to justify liking this show" then why the hell is it that terms like whovian, and trekkie, and what ever star wars fans are called dont get as much hate?

I know, I know the old 'Don't knock it until you try it' but tell me, have you ever kissed a dude, wore a g-string, robbed a bank or mud wrestled with an obese vetenarian? And why not? Because they seem like bad ideas...right, sure you might enjoy one of those activities afterwards (Or feel incredibly dirty) but your mind tells you none of those things are good ideas. Neither is a grown man sitting down to watch an episode of my little pony, no matter how great it is once you get into it.
You know what the funny thing is? I have kissed a dude, wore a g-string, and mud wrestled with an obese person (he was not a vegetarian, and he kicked my ass). So 3 out of 4 and ever time my thought process was why not? but maybe I'm just open minded( or just stupid).

OT: I watch about 9ish episodes before deciding it wasn't for me and I understand where your coming from. I don't like the show but I will admit I have a favorite pony so I know that some people may start watching then change there mind. Then again nothing is more annoying then someone trying to guilt trip you in to something by saying you haven't given it a chance. In conclusion if they haven't watch it by now they probably never will so no point in trying.
