I was wondering about this; Character A is turned into a girl by a magic mcguffin andhe (now she) and really likes character B. Character B is a natural female and learns that A is normaly a guy and really likes he(r) back. Now my quesion to you, is character A, B, or both homosexuals? Keep in mind A still acts and thinks like a guy.
Yeah this has nothing to do with lesbians or gender bending at all. No one in this scenario is a lesbian and the gender bending is not by choice.

the way this is formed confuses me a little but its like this. if a male chooses to become female because mentally, he has always felt like a female, then that person is a female. if someone is physically a girl and mentally a girl, its pretty hard to argue that they arent a girl, regardless of what they looked like when they were growing up. therefore, if a man becomes a womin and is attracted only to womyn, that would make the person a lesbian. however, if in this situation the transitioned male still acts like a male, then he is still a man. who you are is determined by the thing between your ears, not the thing between your legs. id say that neither person is a homosexual

Oh great, this argument is going to become seven kinds of fucked very shortly.

I suppose my cup of gas for the fire is that in a literal sense they are both homosexual but the one who was a guy is only circumstantially homosexual where as the girl is probably bisexual or very attracted to character A's personality.

The one thing that NEVER made sense to me about these sorts of plots is that the guy, now a girl, never spends the next 3 weeks in their bedroom masturbating nonstop. Seriously, that's EXACTLY what I would do if I were ever turned into a girl.
Win!

I think this is honestly what a lot of straight guys would do if they ever got suddenly, magically changed into a girl.

Same thing as transsexuals in real life; you're technically gay and straight.

Also, you should probably be concerned that this is something you feel genuinely needs answering.
There's nothing gay about liking transsexuals. Their gender (mind as you lot are putting it) is of their gender identity and their sex (body) reflects that after HRT and SRS. Unless you're referring to transsexuals who haven't had any surgery, in which case it's debatable, but still very offensive to anyone going through that.

I would say that character A is still straight since she didn't choose to change her gender and would still be a guy if it were up to her. For someone looking on from the outside of the situation she would obviously appear to be a lesbian/bisexual/pansexual. Then again, this really depends on her sexual orientation as a guy.

Character B... I'm not so sure about this one. Has she had any other attractions before? Has she been in love with another guy or girl?. I would need more information about her before I could give you an answer.

I think it'd lose a lot of the novelty by the second week. And OP never said you'd be a hot lesbian. I mean, what if you were turned into Beth Ditto? Sure, you'd be awesome, but three weeks of self pleasure?

Since when does masturbation have anything to do with how pretty a person is? I wouldn't be masturbating while looking in a damned mirror, well, not after the first or second time. I'm assuming that my sex drive remains the same and that the novelty of the situation was like when I originally discovered masturbation as a wee lad. Sooo, three weeks more or less since I rent my own apartment and don't have to worry about any interruptions beyond school. 4 if I discovered I could squirt, along with many laundry loads of wet towels..
Without intervention, there's a good chance by the third week you'd be...riding the cotton pony. Which, as I understand it, is not the sexiest (or cleanest) time for a woman's lady parts.

If A is a guy and B is a girl, then it is "straight" romance, regardless of what their bodies are like, assuming your definition of male and female are dependent on their mental understanding of themselves, which is what I feel you are getting at.

On the other hand, if A is a man who dresses like/becomes a woman, and B is also a man, then it is homosexual. Ditto for women. Again, going by the boundaries laid out by the OP.

I didn't say a damn thing about anyone liking transsexuals, either; I was referring to transsexuals' sexual preferences (assuming they're not bisexual, though I suppose you could say that bisexuality is in itself being both gay and straight), not whomever they become physically entangled with.

Don't be so eager to cry persecution that you do so for no reason.

Why does it matter? They like each other and don't care about whether it's straight or not, so why should we?

A and B are both girls who love each other. That's gay (well it could be bi). Why does the way they think/act change if they are gay or not? If you like people who are the same sex as yourself it's gay. As many have said before there is nothing wrong with that.

No that's basically the exact same thing from a different perspective. Is a transgirl gay because she likes guys? No, because she identifies as a girl and is therefore straight.

By the way if you wanted to make it seem like you weren't being offensive, writing an offensive response wasn't the way to go about it.
