Just as an aside, I was watching The Dukes of Hazzard (the new one) the other night. I've seen this a few times, but all before the water-shed. However, this time it was after.

In the scene where Bo and Luke go to the University and they look for that girl they go through a bunch of rooms. In the last room, it's usually a bunch of girls getting high on marijuana or something like, but this time it was a group of topless women.

From this I can infer, DRUGS MORE APPROPRIATE THAN BEWBIES!

What I hate is when they show the entire boob except for the nipple, I mean for freaks sake I doubt that tiny bit of skin that you left censored is going to cause children everywhere to kill their fathers and rape everything in sight!

Hell most children don't give a crap until adults rage about censorship!

Because in America:
Double standards against Women involve sexuality
On Promiscuity (regardless of sexual safety)...
Men: You stud you! ;D
Women: You skank you!!1!!! >:O

Double standards against Men involve violence
On Spouse Slappins (regardless of severity/warrant)...
Men: You monster! Wifebeater!!!! >:O
Women: You poor thing, what did that monster do to deserve yo slappins? :(

4. Men shouldn't have to wear condoms or pull out, that's inconvenient. (...)
I hope you're not implying that pulling out is an alternative to condoms.

Because they were only viewed in the bedroom back in late 50's and 60's and then it was inbred that you don't see them in public.

Just the way censorship and decency on T.V works I suppose. Maybe that will change in the future-Ideas of what decency is has changed over time. In the middle ages (I think) a human leg of any description that was not covered with clothing was an abhorrent and grossly offensive sight. Even table legs had to be covered at all times, but no one raises an eyebrow if someone wears shorts today.

I can get the idea of not wanting kids to see tits bouncing around, but think for a second-Kids are SUPPOSED to have seen nipples, breastfeeding anyone?

Maybe because the FCC is halfway retarded?

On a related note: What's so bad about the middle finger?

Cos people think that boobies -> inappropriate? An idea that sources out of tradition more than logic.

Personally, I find the attempt to rationalise it most amusing =D

Thank god living in a country where it's not uncommon to see complete nudity in commercials, even in primetime :)

Sadly tho, most of TV Programs are from the US, so near 0 nudity. - But almost all of our own shows/films feature both male and female nudity - full frontal ? no problem.

Because let's be honest, if they did, who would watch the actual film?

Be it intentional or not, it would just become a giant void in the film in which the male brain cannot assimilate plot, no matter how hard they try.

I always thought its because a Woman's chest is considered a Sexual Organ while a man's chest is not(i do know quite a few girls that go nuts over a guys chest though).
So do I, everyone on team Jacob.

Really though this post hit the nail on the head.
