A question for Americans

I guess I understand that but I wish you would look at those Norwegian girls! They're the true gorgeous ones! And you said it yourself, there only seems to be more of them in Sweden. There actually aren't more of them in Sweden than in any other country, the ones that actually are beautiful just seem to get all the attention - not the 'not-so-pretty-ones'. (This is a certain type of prejudice, maybe not bad but prejudice nevertheless)

Well before we went to Sweden we were in Norway for a week or so (we did like a mini tour of Scandinavia) but I didnt really notice as many hot girls. However I think that is because we didnt really go out in the evening to bars etc. in Oslo, whereas we did in Stockholm. If we had been out, no doubt there would have been plenty!

Having said that when we were up in Narvik in the north(ish) of Norway there were some damn fine girls there, especially one who worked in the pizzeria in town

See, told you so! I've only been to the northern parts of Norway so I should know. But that's cool though that you came to Scandinavia. You should come here again and maybe visit Finland on the way as well. =P

Yeah, we were going to come over to Finland originally, but time and money ran out, so we didn't get the chance

There's always next time though, Finland then down to Estonia for cheap everything sounds good to me

Dude, I just got back from holiday in Sweden, everything is like double/triple the price of stuff in the UK. A Beer was about £5 (500 kronor) and it wasn't even a whole fucking pint! Outrageous I say

Oh man, don't come to Australia. It's like $3.50 for a pot (250ml) of shit beer, if you want a pint it's like $8.00 (granted that's only like 4 pounds) or if you want a pint of something that isn't Fosters/CUB shit, it's like $12+.

Oh dear. I guess I am a little biased but I can never grasp the idea of Swedish girls being prettier than your average girl. And their English is usually pretty poor which surprises me cos Swedish as a language is related to English and all..

Perhaps im just desensitized from the fact that I grew up in sweden. But to me there's nothing particularly outstanding about swedish women at all...

Hmm. I'm not saying they're not good looking but I think I have the same problem as you. I have lived on the border of Finland and Sweden for my whole life (and spent a lot of it in Sweden) so I've seen more of them Swedish females than your average Finn hence I don't find them outstandingly beautiful.

I'm from the midwest US. It's probably one of the cheapest places to drink in the whole world. And if you think that we don't have good beer, you are wrong and have not looked very hard.

However, almost all of Sweden's female population are outrageously good looking, so I guess the high beer prices are some kind of compromise

You can't put a tax on beautiful women, it's not right.
