A question for fans of RWBY.

I just bought the "Yellow" trailer theme off of iTunes today and that made me want to ask my fellow fans this question:

So far, which of the four trailer songs is your favorite? I think my favorite so far is "I Burn" from the Yellow trailer. I really like the remixes of the three previous trailer themes along with the original bits at the end.

I think Black is my favourite one, I like it's speed. the music is really good and the voice acting is starting to grow on me finally so I can't wait for this to premier.

Pretty much between Yellow and White. I like White starting off as opera like song then it become fast pace which is my sort of music!
Yellow on the other hand is just the all of the previous songs (and abit of her own theme at the end) just remixed together which I actualyl like the overall result.

Personally, I never thought the voice acting was THAT bad. But then again, these are all new people in these roles. These aren't the veterans of Red vs Blue.

That being said...the Yellow trailer's VA work was much better than the Black trailer IMO.

I think 'Red Like Roses' will always be my favorite as I watched that trailer so many times it's ingrained into my brain! But then again 'Mirror Mirror's lyrics are probably the best. Not a great fan of 'From Shadows' but has a catchy beat and I especially like it's remix'd version in the Yellow trailer. 'I Burn' is good too but unfortunately it probably would have been better if it was given a full track rather than the 1 minute segment it got at the end of the Yellow trailer.

Yellow's was the only one that really stuck in my mind, the others seem a bit too evanescence-esque for me. I'll give them another try regardless.

RWBY simultaneously frustrates me and entertains me. But it's cool to see people pumped for it.

I dont know if its the voice or the character design or what, ut since I have been exposed to so much anime and stuff this just seems...Off.

Black > Yellow > Red > White. Just because Japan (if the people behind this are even Japanese, idk) has a fascination with European history and culture which kinda weirds me out, for no particularly good reason.

I'm still pumped for the series.
I guess if I put it into a list it would go like this.

1. Red.
2. White.
3. Black.
4. Yellow.

... wait a second.
That's pretty much in order!
Time to explain I guess.

R - I really like Red's music since that IS the thing that got me pumped up for the series. I played it over and over as Timelord said. That said, White comes after since I just felt a sense of great action coming from it, even more then the Black trailer. Black trailer's music felt like it left some empty spots in it which could of been filled with ... I don't know, something?

And Yellow, sure that is on the bottom of my list, but it's only there because it was a remix which I don't really like.
With that said, I liked all the music (I got them all from iTunes) and the trailers themselves, and I am pumped for this series.

White because that was the only one where the enemy put up a decent enough fight.
I hate overly one-sided fights where the hero takes minimal damage.

Red has my favorite song and is just the coolest to watch in my opinion. Black has sick gun swords.

I still like all of them, though.

The guys behind this aren't Japanese, they're American.

In fact, Monty Oum, the creative lead on this series, is a part of Rooster Teeth, the same guys that make Red vs. Blue. He is particularly talented in the field of fight scenes. He's the guy behind Haloid video-

I've thoroughly enjoyed all of his work so far and I'm really looking forward to the first episode of RWBY in July!

OK as someone who has never heard of this before...

WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!!!

At least until they started talking... :/ The music and fighting were really cool though, reminded me of Devil May Cry a bit, especially the Red trailer.

EDIT: Having re-watched them all I'll rank them as White > Black > Red > Yellow. Mainly based on the fighting styles.

Seems like they have a flair for the cliché, fights seems a bit one-sided, though I really enjoyed "white".
Also, does Yellow have shotgun gauntlets? I wanna have those.

overall, I'm not pumped for the series, but definately intrigued, maybe the story will grow on me.

Black reminded me the most of Metal Gear Rising, so I'm gonna go with that one.

The rest of them are okay. I'd probably listen to them if not for the vocals. (Just not my thing.)

I really like the music in Red and the remix in Yellow. I do like the music in White but to a lesser extent. Didn't really like Black all that much but it wasn't horrible to any extent. The combat in Red and Yellow was also good. A gun-scythe is of course bloody awesome and I really liked how she used it. But the combat in Yellow looked very dynamic and meaty so I think that's my favorite.

I doubt that the majority of the staff is Japanese but there is clear influence from fighting games and anime in the fight choreography so they definably like the material that comes out of Japan.
