I hate sports (I especially hate turning things like martial arts into sports), i love a good romance in a story, i love cooking (but in the culture my dad comes from that's not unmanly), i don't like the taste of alcohol (so i obviously don't drink), i squeal KITTEH! whenever i'm in the vicinity of a cat, Pop is my favorite genre of music (I have realized that i'm unlikely to dislike any Michael Jackson song), I enjoy Azumanga Daioh and Lucky star for the comedy, and most of my TV time is spent on Cartoon Network or Disney Channel (When i'm not watching documentaries or Mythbusters).

But i personally don't think these aspects of me make me any less (or more) manly, but it seems that they contradict the male stereotype, which i don't care for.

I cry very easily, even if there's no real reason to. I suspect my subconscious is sabotaging me.

I don't watch or play sports, I don't care about cars, and my muscles might as well be made of silly string.

A simple question for all the manly-men at The Escapist... What is the most unmanly thing you do? What is the one thing that you love that completely defies the stereotypical manly way of life?
Most likely how sometimes I'll lip-synch to music, even if the singer is female (e.g. Shhh by Donora).

Lets make a list shall we? (Its kind of a long list so I'll stick it in a spoiler box)
- I draw (not really un-manly, but anti-stereotype for sure)
- I write (same as above)
- I listen to quite a bit of music that could be considered "un-manly"
Maybe not entirely "un-manly" but compared to a good amount of my music which would fit the "manly" stereo type (heavy metal) they're drastically different.
- I don't really like action movies or FPS games. Theres a few exceptions to this, but its rare
- MEGAN FOX IS NOT ATTRACTIVE AND DEFINITELY NOT HOT!
- I don't like beer. Some of the Rum and Vodka I've tried isn't bad though
- I prefer cats to dogs
- I Absolutely abhor sports & sports celebrities
- I know nothing about cars or anything with a motor for that matter
- I like cooking / baking
- I watch anime. Some manly-ish and others not so manly. (Top 5 favorites would be FLCL, Slayers, Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Trigun, and Fullmetal Alchemist)
- I have a pillow pet (Its a lady bug one that I got as a joke xmas gift, but I really want the panda one and they're really comfortable).
- I also have a plush whale & 6-sided dice that I'll mess around with once in a while
- I have a small collection of dream catchers (not sure if thats manly or not)
- I like shopping for certain things (things like clothes, vidja games, movies, etc. I hate groceries and shoes though)
- I have certain... preferences... that aren't considered "manly"
- I want to have long hair, but it's not working so well :(
- I like poetry
- I've cried from movies, vidja games, books, tv, anime, and a bunch of other things
- Singing to songs when no one is around (sometimes when there are people) even if the singer is a girl
- I suck at growing facial hair. I haven't shaved since something like October and only have a little bit of chin scruff.
- I piss sitting down
- I'm a good listener
- I'm really shy
- I enjoy spending more than 30 minutes to make a list for a comment at 2 in the morning
- I like to look at previous comments and then edit in more things that I didn't think about

There ya go, my un-manly biography.

Like many others, I do not care about sports in any way. On top of that, I pee sitting down, I have a soft spot for romantic animes, I tend to cry while watching some movies, I don't like beer, I hear how some guys in my class enjoy a good fight, something I don't understand. There's probably some more, but nothing i can come up with right now.

I'd say as far as what I DO do, I'm not "girlie" but I'm not "Manly" either. I don't play contact sports, or follow a specific team, but I do enjoy watching a game on TV is it's on. I don't exercise a lot, but spend a lot of time on the computer instead. So overall, I'm guessing that on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being a total fruit, and ten being a whole hunk o' man, I'd be around a 6 or 7.

I too dislike american football. Coincidentally this dislike extends to watching sports at all. What is the thrill in watching someone else doing something I can do myself?

Edit: Some might consider my pink DSi unmanly. Not sure if that counts though seeing as how pink is the manliest of colours!

I suppose my constant obsession with my hair counts as a female act, but when you got long, beautiful hair, you gotta pay attention to it!

There's this one I do I think makes me unmanly... having sex with other men :p
Naaa... That's probably ten times the manliness than sleeping with women. As explained below in colorful context.

OT; I really can't think of any. I am the most neutral teenager of all time. But that's Sweden for you in a nutshell; Neutrality.

Nah, sorry, that's manly. It's the effeminite putzes in denial who go on about other guys doing what they can't. Me, I don't get excited about sports I don't do. If they were interesting, I'd play them.

Most unmanly thing I've done? Read and appreciated everything Jane Austen wrote-- including the half finished works (Lady Susan, Sanditon, the Watsons, and her juvenile history). Seriously, the girl had a handle on character. But I won't lie. You read an Austen novel and you really need to go out, grab a burger and grunt at your bros afterwards lest the estrogen get to you.

I'm pretty manly, yet I'm obsessed about my hair.

I'm a very emotional on certain points, for instance i can't watch the Futurama episode when Fry tries to bring his old dog back to life.
The end when...sniff.

Fuck.
