I don't watch sports, but even if I did I doubt they show it in Sweden.
What is Super Bowl anyways, that hand-egg sport?

I lolled.

Sports are pretty boring.

American sports are boring and insular.

No actually, I didn't. American football is jsut really, really boring and I don't like any of the teams' names.
I can get how some people would find it boring, but what the hell is wrong with the Tennessee Titans, the Carolina Panthers or the San Diego Chargers? I mean, over here in Europe, it's all either "FC so-and-so" or "whatchamacallit United"; not exactly great names.

Among 30 teams in the NFL, there's not one whose name you don't dislike? That seems incredibly arbitrary.
They just sound silly to me, I don't know why. And I never said I liked european football team names either.

I'm not really into watching any sports other than rugby (I prefer league, but will watch union if it's a big event) or tennis.

That said, American Football just passes me by, whereas normal football drives me absolutely insane with rage. I think it's the hooliganism and the disbelief from the general population that somebody might not be interested in it that antagonises me the most.

I don't find popular sports over here that interesting in general let alone another nations sport, so no.

Also this probably would of made a better poll so you could compare.

No. Sports shows have never been my thing, I prefer to play then watching (depending on the sport of course) but enjoy the superbowl anyway I always hear good things.*

So what names would you like? Just curious.
I don't know, I've never thought about it.

I didn't watch it and I really dont care. I'm not into most sports, and I wasn't about to make a exception for the superbowl.

I know what super bowl is... surprisingly enough.
And I don't care about American football at all. ^^

I watched the first quarter and recorded the rest as it went on until like 3 in the morning.

I do enjoy American Football as a sport much more than traditional English Football (Yes FOOTBALL. NOT SOCCER)

I watched it once about 4 years back with my cousins, don't know who played, mainly watched it because it had been mentioned in American sitcoms and also figured it would be kind of like the Olympics in that hype, cost and spectacle overshadows the dull, dull sporting events.

It didn't.

Seemed a little like Rugby, but where people stopped for a chat, a hug and some homoerotic grab arse after each tackle, which was greatly facilitated by the skintight lyra pants. Honestly, I don't think the additions helped much, seemed to draw everything out, also the refs never seemed to call the blatant forward passing being done by the dummy half.

I would give it a C- or so I guess.

The Superbowl is American Footbal, right? Yeah, I'm not watching it, and don't know anyone who will be. To be honest, I wasn't aware it was happening soon until I saw this thread.

For the record, I live in Israel.

Nope, don't watch don't care.
I barely even check out any local sports so why the heck would I watch that, ok if it was interesting then maybe, but it's not (to me, that is my personal view).
