I wouldn't push it. Not because of morals but because life wouldn't be as interesting if I got everything I wanted and I'm pretty content at the moment.

I really don't have anything else to add to this. My thoughts have been summed up pretty well by others already. About the only reason I would press it is to make the world a better place and make everyone happier, but I still wouldn't be sure. Even if I would never meet their loved ones, due to the terms of agreement for the button, I would still be uncomfortable with the thought of explaining to them why I choose to kill these people.lunncal said:Well, if my "every whim" can include an end to world hunger, or if I can use some of my newly obtained wealth to save lots of lives, then sure.

So yes, I'd hit that button. Those people need to die horribly.
I would. Provided of course that 'every whim' includes that my words alone will stop wars, ignorance, religion in the ancient sense and make the human race collectively progress towards a better future. I'll take the burden on me of having killed five innocent people, even though I believe every life is worth infinity. You press it, your every whim will be catered to for the rest of your obscenely long life, and you will stay fit and healthy throughout.
