Gosh, that was long.

That first one has to be the most depressing thing I've seen since the last pixar movie.

Well, good luck to derpy and her daughter that I have never seen in an episode.
Yeah I really like Derpy Hooves so I have a lot of images. I try to only collect the best ones, though. Otherwise it would just get ridiculous.

As for Dinky Hooves: "In Call of the Cutie the fans have noticed a purple unicorn foal that loosely resembles Derpy. She later reappeared in Winter Wrap Up, hopping along during the work song. She became known to the world as Dinky, daughter of Derpy Hooves." (Source.)

I love how people defend the bronies thing. Guys, it's not the interest thats the sick part, it's a bunch of middleaged men bludgeoning off the tax payers money by claiming their TV show interest is a sickness. Thats what's disgusting.
Or it would be disgusting, if that were an actual thing that had not been completely made up. "Brony" merely refers to any fan of the show older than the target demographic.

You have invoked her name, and I am bored. You brought this on yourself.
-REMOVED MASSIVE IMAGE DUMP-
It's a fan name, by the way. The original crossed eyes bit was either an error or prank by one of the animators.
I think it was a prank. They like to mess with the background characters' eyes from time to time. In Derpy's case, though, it was either intentional (though unlikely) or accepted as canon later (never underestimate the power of fandom!), since her real name (Ditzy Doo) still implies derpiness.

That, and the actual derpiness she engages in.

This. Sooooo This. Its a fad and I can't wait 'till it blows over. 'Cause right now it just blows.

I wouldn't say it's a fad, we genuinely like the show, it's really not that hard to ignore us
Of course you wouldn't, you like it. I'd say its about as hard to ignore as my post, which you couldn't make yourself ignore.
Well a fad is something that people like purely because everyone else does, rather than liking it for its own merits, that's why it isn't a fad
Riiight. Because you speak for all who like it I suppose?? lol.
If you really want go look through all previous pony threads, I challenge you to find someone who doesn't feel the same way, barring people like you, whom I highly doubt have actually seen the show

You can't tell me you think it's fair for Tax Payers to fork out the cash so a bunch of Bronies can sit around watching TV all day?

Anyway, its not my thing personally, but I do find the animation endearing. Its proper hand drawn animation, not the horrible tweening present in 90% of kids cartoons these days.
Dude... just... dude.

I feel sorry for ya man.

You actually believe a word Fox News says about a controversial subject?

'Cuz, you know... that whole Fox News story was an outright lie. You didn't realize that? MLP doesn't lend itself to people staying home from work on medical leave more than any other show does. Such an issue has nothing to do with bronies.

Yeah but come on guy that can be said for any group of people. The sooner people realise that its not just a hand full of bronies sponging off the goverment the better off we'll all be. Yes there are proberly lazy leechs out there who like MLP but I for one REFUSE to be grouped together with these people. I have been looking for a job for about half a year now but refuse to go on benefits (I recently got in contact with my old employer and they say theyll rehire me in about two weeks so YAY!). I HATE LAZY PEOPLE, and if it wasnt for the tiny Fluttershy sitting on my shoulder telling me to just "hug erm instead" I would proberly have lynched a few people I know.

That name actually makes me feel really bad for her. Can you imagine going through life with an insult for a name? Her parents must have been terrible.

OH! I just realized I forgot to link to the usergroup, despite the fact that this thread isn't very good. I'll edit it into an earlier post as well

Wow, did you REALLY just quote a FOX NEWS assumption that people are ACTUALLY applying for disability to sit around and do nothing but much MLP:FiM ALL day, when new episodes only air ONE half hour a week (and not even that anymore as the show is between seasons)

If there is a problem with people skipping off work to watch tv, then it runs MUCH deeper then some kid's show that happens to appeal to an older audience as well. This assumption, this claim, this ACCUSATION is baseless and insulting not just to the "Bronie" community, but to anyone with an intelligence level higher then an amoeba. I honestly hang my head in shame that anyone could seriously accept, or agree with, the idea that anyone would literally place themselves on disability on the basis of one television show alone, or worse, that the show itself is somehow to blame. Sure, it probably happens, but like the baby man shown in the same article, there must be some underlying desire/condition/psychological reasoning behind it beyond simply, MLP is neat, I'm gonna do nothing else ever but sit at home and watch this all day, herp derp and I'll even make sure I get paid for it too by scamming disability!

Of course, I hang my head in shame at almost every mention of something Fox News (or several choice news outlets) often say, so maybe I shouldn't be THAT shocked.

Remember Samurai Jack and it's obsessive fan base? Probably not, these things blow over.

I for one will never take part in a meme that came from /co/.

They already have. And so did NPR.

Seriously, where have you been? I wish I had a link for you, but I sadly couldn't find one.

EDIT: Here you go.

I question the validity of anyone's journalistic merit when they say that swearing is out of character for Samuel L. Mother-fucking-Jackson.

In all fairness, I believe that was a local associate of the network rather than an official Fox show.
Hmmm, you may be right, apologies then, I couldn't tell the difference with the high and mightier then thou bigotry, one sided "debate" and straight up insults against someone different and therefore not only worse than them, but a useless drain on the entire economy. They were one step away from saying should simply be taken outside and shot to do the rest of the world a favor, and perhaps even them, since both "groups" they mentioned were so "sick," you can see how I might have mistaken that with an actual Fox News show.

(and yes, maybe I'm over-reacting, maybe, but those two disgusted me about a billion times more then the baby man did)

But if they all like it then its not a fad... anyway anyone who is a "fan" proberly wouldnt admit to watching it because everyone else was but then again said people proberly wouldnt be on a forum arguing about weather or not its a fad... my head hurts im going to go watch Adventure Time, LADY RAINICORN! WOOOOOOOOO!
Fail. His argument was that it wasn't a fad because of WHY they liked it. I rejected that argument because I don't think he speaks for everyone who likes it. Please, go watch, because your post makes MY head hurt.

FALSE: Because watching something due to the fact that everyone else is is not liking it. That is peer pressure or the need to be accepted, neither of these things are very pony. Any REAL Brony will tell you this.

Unfortunately, due to d'awwing too hard at this picture [http://i.imgur.com/JNSR1.jpg], I'm incapable of rage at the moment, so I'll skip my comment on the first two lines. But seriously, check your facts first buddy, the show's made in Flash, not hand drawn.

A great victory for love and tolerance. For he who derps with me today shall be my brother.

And, yes, it's Flash animation. I'm no expert but my understanding is that any animation style can be made to look good, it's just a matter of time and effort. Both of which this team has in spades.

AKUUUUUU!

A fan base never really dissapears, we just go quiet until new work is put out or someone is foolish enough to adress our obsession. As long as they are making MLP, people are hating MLP, or someone is adding to the MLP community then you will here from bronies.

Also, I want my Samurai Jack movie!
